I'm watching the Karate Kid, the original and when I saw it in the theater in 1984 I had no idea that seeing it now would feel like going home.
The music, the fashion, the cars, things as simple as a can of Lysol. What a wonderful time this was. And how wonderful that so many of these movies exist so I can always go back.

@CyrtHogg Anyone ask him why he pinch hit for the team MVP in a game that the MVP also homered when that MVP had a plus 800 OPS v lefties?

@CBSScottWhite Don't let them put you on a statin. The normal levels of cholesterol keep changing over the last few decades to get more people on the drugs. Don't give in.

@allinkid I just DM'd too based on their response to your post and they said, we see you've already submitted to our customer relations team and they would be best suited to handle my issue.

So @AmericanAir at it again
- Chat agent screwed up everything -- had Nicole on 2 flights, same code, but not actually ticketed (seats)
- Called, but in order to fix it, they "had" to charge $380
- Agent on phone gave link to get refund admitting their fault
- Silence for 4 days

@threeinningfan Lock 'em out then. I'm willing to sacrifice a season to break them. Plus, cheapskates like Attanasio can increase payroll or sell.

The owners' salary floor proposal is higher than I expected, but it doesn't change the fact that the Players Union will never accept a cap and floor system, period.
Jesse Rogers@JesseRogersESPN
BREAKING: As expected, MLB proposed a hard salary cap to union officials today as part of the next CBA, sources tell ESPN. The salary floor for teams beginning in 2027 would be set at $171.2 million which includes player benefits with the ceiling at $245.3 million.

If you don’t believe miracles happen, my op-ed on the doctrine of Providence, complete with reference to RC Sproul and the Westminster larger catechism, is the lead in the Washington Post’s opinion section of today’s Sunday edition. 😄
And for those who fighting the paywall, perhaps this might help! (And thanks again to religion editor @matthewschmitz for commissioning!)
