I’ve questioned a lot of over the years. I’ve changed my mind. I’m learning to be content with mystery. But one thing I am more sure of than ever: Jesus, son of God made flesh who lived, died, was raised, and is reigning w/the Father is life to me. He’s it. Where else would I go?

Houston peeps: My 19 y.o. is $$$ stressed to tears bc her current gig, which she loves (chick fil a) isn’t giving her enough hrs (she was a team lead in GA at CFA before moving here). She loves working! Who knows of an employment opportunity for the hardest working kid in TX?

On Sunday I was honored to oversee the licensing of nine individuals to the gospel ministry. Each of them have demonstrated a passion for the gospel of Jesus. We affirmed the call on each of their lives. We prayed over them and sent them in the name of Jesus. May they carry His gospel far and wide.

A sweet young employee at DQ tried to tell me tonight that the heath bar blizzard has always been made with hot fudge in the ice cream. Do not cite the Dairy Queen recipe to me, Gen Z. I was there when it was written. (She kindly offered to make me a vanilla-based one.)
