So we have a dubious report that Pierce has or is losing the locker room. Personally I do not believe that at all. Pierce may or may not be the right choice for coach, time will tell, but it’s a serious stretch to honestly believe the men in that locker room have “turned” on him.

The Raiders showed a level of grit Sunday similar to moments last season and how they played the season after Gruden was relieved. McDaniels was never able to tap into that. The question is: Can they keep this up and not play down to Carolina next week.
