Few pictures cry out more, the best of British film making. Richard Attenborough, Bryan Forbes et al during production of The League of Gentlemen @PinewoodStudios 1959. When I interviewed Lord A at his home, he had a copy of this picture framed on his wall. One of his faves too.

One of the weirdest things my ex church made us do as kids/teens was to roleplay someone putting a gun at our heads and asking if we "renounce Christ" and there was screaming and pressure from the "shooter". We always had to say I DO NOT RENOUNCE CHRIST and "drop dead" after.

@daraobriain I think they were swept up in the rush to get him out after it was obvious he wasn't going to concede. Problems arose after because he couldn't stop himself from making bad excuses for why he's the victim.

A heart-breaking moment saved in an SS picture of deportations of Hungarian Jews at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. It was taken 79 years ago, most likely in late May 1944. A little child found a dandelion in the grass and is handing it or showing it to an older boy. All the people in this picture were waiting to be killed in gas chamber. They were murdered some time later. Please RT this unique document.
