@Quartermain10 @AFL Yes there probably are 75 that aren’t “up to standard” but there are way more than that who aren’t playing afl that ARE at the standard. Look at all the good mid season/mature age recruits picked up recently. It’s not a talent problem, it’s an identification/development issue.

In a perfect world… yes. But the cold hard facts are the talent pool is already poor. There’s at least 75 players in the @AFL that are not up to standard. We should have a 16 team competition… not 20.

@zanerednwhite I think it’s the right call. When he loses possession of the ball, wardlaw no longer has hold of him therefore he isn’t being tackled. When the ball touches the ground is irrelevant, he still has possession. Play on

Firstly the tackle didn't stick. Secondly if anything it's a trip , thirdly, tell me you don't watch swans games with out telling me you don't watch swans games. Heeney has his head taken high, sat on roughed up held off the ball especially after he disposes off it more than most

A reminder that Sydney’s only loss of the season - to Hawthorn - came off a five day break and travel after beating Brisbane by over 40 points the previous week. And the Swans were in that game all night until the Hawks kicked the last three goals

I don't know who this exec is, but if he were the exec of the team I loved, I'd be VERY concerned. These first two breakdowns are insane: On Cisse: "I think he's better suited for a zone team." Everyone's a zone team! "Not super fast." He tested 4.41! And then the McClellan answer "We just didn’t know much about him. We didn’t talk much about him. Maybe we’re messed up. @black_42 Yep. Looking at 30? He just turned 28. Younger than cmc, saquon, Henry all of who are still good. Only reason he had a down year was coz he was banged up, so once he’s back at full fitness he will be back to his best.

This is a correct decision. No prior. As the second angle shows. Frampton bobbles it initially; he does not have a clear prior opportunity after he gets clear possession. Fantastic tackle by Watson, but it is not HTB. Good piece of umpiring #AFLPiesHawks #AFL

@flagswans2026 Melican will be in with a chance - but get the sense Hamling hasn’t done too much wrong/Melican hasn’t done quite enough to get a recall. Hamling with 6 contested marks and 8 intercept possessions in the VFL. Melican had 1 and 6.
