Not enough talk about how HUGE this 3 was, too. What a set. Fake Pistol, decoy wide pin/tight curl, run the step-up guy off the real middle pin? Hurley has some filthy shit.

A lot of playoff press is just campaigning. You’re constantly working the league/officials to try to get a more favorable whistle. Last night I did feel like OKC was fouling ~ every possession knowing refs can’t call it every time. Physical af. LA will get better whistle in G3.
Barstool Sports@barstoolsports

“They have a few guys that foul on every possession…. They're hard enough to play. You gotta be able to just call it if they foul and they do foul" JJ Redick ready to take a fine after calling out how OKC is officiated

@ThinkdontSee @LevAkabas Do you think he stepped on his foot on purpose? Do you think stepping on someone’s foot is a foul? Do you think “putting your body into them” is automatically a foul regardless of how physical the contact was? I’ll let you figure those out.

@ScoutWithBryan @LevAkabas So you’re saying I can just step on someone foot and put my body into them to make them fall?

This "legal guarding position" nonsense needs to end This was an offensive foul (or a no call) for the first 70 years of the NBA An offensive player can now plow into a defender's stomach simply because he's not standing 100% perfectly still?

Draymond Green believes Steve Kerr hindered his career and wonders why Kerr didn’t run any offensive plays for him during the Kevin Durant era 😳 “As much as he's done for me in basketball, a part of me think he's hindered me in my career and what I could have become. But what he's also helped me become. Like you got to take the good with the bad, man. You know, when I think of who I was offensively as a player and who I became, I think a part of that is due to him. I don't hold that against him. I'm forever grateful that he still put me in a position to be successful and that I could become Draymond Green despite my offensive role on our team. I don't sit and be like, ‘Oh man, like I f--king hate Steve because of that. No, it's one of my gripes. But if you're going to take one gripe and not be able to move past it for all the other things, then you're shallow as a person. You know, when [Kevin Durant] came from 2016 on, I have not had a play in our playbook. Not a single play that we run for me in our playbook since 2016. You think that would hinder someone as an offensive player? Of course. So at times, I go home and I think about my career and I'm happy as hell of what I've been able to build. But at times, sometimes I sit there and think, ‘What could I really have been if I stayed true to my game and what I really was?’ ” (Via nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-sta…)

Feels like the tournament expanding is one of those things that everyone is gonna bitch and complain about it now, but in 5 years universally love Cmon. More basketball is a good thing. There are a lot of good teams now. More Cinderellas. Opportunity is a good thing.

@WTOP Gotta leave it to WTOP to humanize a would-be presidential assassin. “It was just respectful opposition by a well-educated man!” 🤡

This is a ridiculous, asinine storyline. Why in the f*ck would Amen Thompson know how Kevin Durant’s ankle feels? Silly thing to report, sillier thing to aggregate & make a story out of

David McMenamin says Kevin Durant’s teammates have no idea what’s going on with him, raising questions about whether KD is rehabbing away from the team and whether his teammates have been checking on him 😬 (h/t @NBA__Courtside )

I know Udoka gets crap for “throwing guys under bus.” But Udoka isn’t on the court. The pass by Smith is one of the dumbest plays I’ve ever seen. These are plays that would be dumb in 6th grade. Guys need tough love/accountability. Not coach being fall guy
