@NOAA_CINMS We hope these methods and results can be used to identify regions for noise reduction efforts, as well as to model scenarios to identify those with the greatest potential to support marine conservation efforts 🌎🌊🐳.

.@solsona_alba uses 15+ years of data (!) showing less beaked whale activity with sonar at daily & annual timescales.
Hattaras whales rarely hear sonar & likely respond at MUCH lower levels than California, where sonar is common. Important results at #ESOMM2022 w/ @Scripps_AEL
