A truck came into our lane at 70 mph. I chose to lay my bike down. We both flew. I nearly lost my leg, shattered my lower spine, and both suffered a TBI. My wife broke her C spine. 1 helicopter ride, many surgeries, and a year bedridden and in a wheelchair before I walked again.
