Scrolly’s Airdrop News: A little Twist, but We’re Still Scrollin' Dear Community, As many of you have asked, we’d like to discuss the $SCR airdrop today. But before diving in, let’s take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. Scrolly began as an idea in December 2023 and became a reality on January 8, 2024. That was just over 10 months ago. For those of you who have been with us since the beginning, thank you for staying with us. Regardless of market conditions or market cap, you are the heart of this community. Without you, none of this would have been possible. Over the past 10 months, we and the community have worked tirelessly to grow this project. Whether spreading the word to friends or DAOs, seeking ways to reward your loyalty, or driving the project forward with developments like the creation of the Hub and its updates, your contributions have been invaluable. Together, we've created opportunities—such as WL giveaways—and forged partnerships with fantastic collaborators (shoutout to @zprotocolxyz, @IggySocial, and @venium_io—if you’re not familiar with them, check them out!). We've spent countless hours in calls and meetings, working with people from various backgrounds to build something that benefits the entire Scrolly community. This collective effort has borne fruit, particularly during the Scroll airdrop campaign. We’re proud to share some key numbers: - 600 000+ transactions accross all our contracts - Over 81,000 holders - $100 million in total volume - 89,000 badges issued - 4,500 NFT collections launched - 67,000 .scrolly minted Thank you for helping us achieve these milestones! Initially, we planned to reward the community with an allocation of $SCR, which we expected to receive from Scroll. After all, Scrolly stands out as the only community/meme token on the chain that hasn’t rug-pulled, isn’t dominated by insider manipulation, and has the numbers to back it up. Unfortunately, Scrolly didn’t make the cut for the top 100 projects selected by Scroll for $SCR distribution. But hey, that’s not going to stop us! With a mix of pride and humility, we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be distributing the $SCR from our own Community Wallet and Fees Wallet among our loyal badge holders. The total amount comes to a grand 237.2551 $SCR. Further details will be shared soon. Keep Scrollin' no matter what. 🌴

An update for my Scroll fam: I am writing this with a heavy heart, as I wish to inform you that I have decided to step down from my position at @Scroll_ZKP. This decision was not an easy one, and it comes after an amazing 2.5 year journey, in which I was lucky enough to have shared with some of the most amazing people that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Over the last, almost three years, I had the opportunity to help shape and nurture Scroll's earliest community. Looking back, it's honestly surreal to see how far we've come in terms of growth, compared to when we first moved out of stealth back in early 2022. Growing the Scroll community has been the highlight of my career, and this is an experience that I will continue to cherish and carry with me for many years to come. The decision for me in deciding to move on, was far from easy. However, I think that I can happily look back and say that I achieved everything that I set out to do with Scroll. Since our very first public appearance at Devconnect 2022, we have evolved from our roots as a small research hub, into one of the largest L2 communities today. Most importantly, though, we successfully delivered one of the first ever zkEVMs to Ethereum mainnet. Although I will not play a role in how Scroll continues to evolve, I have no doubt that Scroll's future is brighter than ever, with many more improvements and optimizations to be made well into the future. I am confident that Scroll will remain as one of Ethereum's most successful L2 protocols. And last, but not least, thank you to the Scroll community. You guys have stuck with us through thick and thin, and we would not be where we are today without your contributions and support. For that, I am forever grateful. Looking forward, I am excited for what's ahead. I am not sure what I will be working on next, but if I can be certain about one thing, it's that I will be working to help improve and bolster the adoption and long-term growth of the Ethereum ecosystem.
