Pink Double Delight coneflowers. This and one other variety are the only ones not yet showing signs of aster yellows. Five more went into the garbage today.

Oooh I’d forgotten about this artist , I used to post his work often as I love it
‘Roses on the House
He was a stubborn painter and wouldn’t be pigeonholed for his style and suffered because if it. In the end he was called an Intimist
I found a little beetle, so that Beetle was his name,
And I called him Alexander and he answered just the same.
I put him in a match-box, and I kept him all the day…
And Nanny let my beetle out -
And Beetle ran away.

"I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing."

Join Kaikai for a milk feed.
Our quick-witted little sprite drinks up to 24 litres of milk a day, two bottles every three hours, around the clock. Feeds like this offer more than nutrition too, enabling quiet moments of bonding with their Keepers.
Kaikai turned one last month and while browse makes up some of her diet, it will be many years before she is fully weaned. A gift from our milk wishlist can help covers a full day's milk for orphans like her: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/shop/wishlist
Eight months after she left with a wild boyfriend, Twiggy came back to say hello.
She made straight for the stables, where she stooped her head to each of her former Keepers in turn. Then she was down at the mud bath with the orphaned elephants and loitering in the gardens with the smaller orphans, as though the past eight months spent roaming the wild had never happened. She is in impeccable condition and we're thrilled to have her around as long as she chooses to stay.
Are you one of our giraffe adopters? Read her full update: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/news/updates/t…
