SCOTUS giving credence to Donald’s immunity claims is an apocalyptically bad decision. The highest court will now entertain insane arguments that Donald could get away with directing SEAL Team Six to kill a political opponent — but here’s why Donald shouldn't celebrate just yet. The Supreme Court is clearly corrupt. Its most corrupt member refuses to recuse himself from a case in which he clearly has a conflict of interest, but there are still reasons for us to hang onto hope for our country. Consider this: The Supreme Court's ploy here is to cause enough of a delay so a verdict in Donald's January 6th trial can't be reached before the election. In reality, the chance they will rule in Donald's favor is extraordinarily unlikely, because they would not want to give President Biden blanket immunity in the last months of his current term. That said, if they did rule in favor of immunity for Donald, such news would only inspire even more furious voters who will see right through the corruption. Republicans were rightly punished at the polls after the court overturned Roe v. Wade. I think SCOTUS' latest moves will likewise embolden Democrats to come out in even greater numbers. So either way, for Donald, it's lose-lose. And it gets worse for Donald.🧵
