@blooprintgames I definitely agree. Solo content is pretty much the only type of Rust content I watch. The struggle makes it feel real, the progression is slower, and most importantly, you can CONTROL the content. It's easier to tell a story when you're 100% in control of the decisions.

I'm considering shifting my content on my channel to mostly solo. Uploading 2-3 solo vids in a row, then a collab. Rather than 3-4 team wipes, then a solo vid. I just feel like its the best type of Rust content to watch on YT these days. What are your guys' thoughts on that? 🤔

@Gum_Ball69 I don’t think it’d be interesting. Raiding is such a huge part of Rust and on a solo only server there’s like zero fun to be had from raiding or being raided.

@blooprintgames Have you considered doing a solo wipe on a solo only server?

@x3of9 Man I wish I could interact with people in game. I so much as breathe into my microphone and people recognize my voice 😅 Then their behavior completely changes - they either don’t wanna raid, suddenly want to raid, leak to the server, you never know and it doesn’t feel organic

For me, it's the player interactions during the course of a wipe. Many times, a team wipe can have some fantastic personality dynamics. Of course, a lot of solo runs can also have some amazing interactions with randoms on the server. Naturally, that is more challenging when your voice is so quickly recognized. Maybe "non-team" solo runs where you have people you can talk to on the server, but you're all doing your own thing? And then there are the cheaters. I find videos from any creator to bring a wonderful feeling of triumph when a cheater is identified and banned, the wipe saved. It's the videos where an obvious cheater goes on to effectively ruin a wipe that I have a hard time watching, no matter how good the "underdog" angle can be.
