Walked with Mum today with @BreakthroughT1D for our amazing nephew and grandson Jake - would love to see progress for all those living with Type 1 Diabetes

Our lovely Liz, diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2013, showing us all how to live life to the full. A 🌟 tennis player, she plays 🎾 weekly, walks every day, and attends @5kYWBelfast every month. Last weekend she abseiled the Europa Hotel 😱. No bother, look at that 😃!

Our Clayre (@LadyLab17) has made it, climbing >5,500m 🏔....a huge challenge and achievement....look at those smiles of joy! We cannot wait to hear all about it. Come along to @5kYWBelfast in Ormeau Park on last Saturday of month to meet this superhero 🦸🏽‍♀️. #ExerciseIsMedicine

Ormeau 5k Your Way Ambassador Ann McBrien has also been named a finalist for the BBC Make a Difference 2025 Awards! Ann is shortlisted in the Active Award category in Northern Ireland for her incredible work while living with stage 4 breast cancer.
