In his journals, Kurt Cobain listed his 50 favorite albums. His taste? Immaculate. But there's one glaringly odd pick. The lone Nirvana album is... Green? R.E.M.'s very uneven 1988 LP, objectively the most disappointing record they'd put out to date. Why? I have three theories

Philadelphia is a beautiful city, never shown enough in a positive light. This is why I love Philly, a jawn I’am proud to call my second home. Enjoy and please share the passion for the city of brotherly love. 🙏

If you are a passionate and curious music fan who is willing to try new stuff, inevitably the Grateful Dead finds you. For some of us that happens in middle school and high school. For others, it happens later. The Grateful Dead. Ubiquitous and inevitable American treasure.

The album is about the value of music--which this review doesn't discuss. Getting hung up on the meta/concept/humor/tone & trying to write a list of all the references made is the real frivolous fool’s errand. Music critics, time to Think Differently please for the love of god
