Read through a bunch of Crimson Desert reviews and here is the summary:

๐จBREAKING: TikToker who pretended to be a Trump supporter now claims he scammed MAGA supporters out of $30K. The man, who portrayed himself as a Trump supporter from 2024 until last week, frequently shared emotional stories about personal tragedies and often asked MAGA followers for help. He has now released a video mocking MAGA supporters, Charlie Kirk, and President Donald Trump.

I've had a hypothesis for a while I call "The IQ Bubble." Basically, unless you work in an exceptionally public facing role, adults will never encounter anybody with an IQ >15 points higher or lower than themselves. Separately, I've observed that people either act as they believe, or they believe as they act, with the far greater majority being in the latter category. In this latter category, I believe Chater's thesis is correct. For the former... The very short of what I'm saying is that this book appears to be the fruit of someone mistaking their lack of observation of a seriously intelligent person with intellectual or philosophical rigor for the lack their existence. It is the psychological equivalent to the standard historical revision practiceโacademia encourages people to come up with "revolutionary" ideas that discredit, challenge, and allegedly "disprove" things that everybody already knows to be true.

It also later came out that the white kid had acted heroically & competently during the fire, unlike pretty much all of his pretty much all PoC peers, & that heโd raised specific concerns relating to the risk of fire that later consumed the ship. & this is what made them hate him

The impossible confidence of impossibly stupid people is truly incredible to behold.

Believe it or not, Sears once sold donkeys through their catalog-and yes, they'd be shipped right to you by train! (1950s)
