You’re trapped in the last TV show you watched, where are you?

Here we go again. 😡😡😡 THIS is exactly why we refuse to let this die down. We have a platform now, and we are going to use it to fight for families like ours and dogs like Lucy. Because no family should have their life, finances, peace, reputation, or livelihood destroyed over weaponized complaints and government overreach. It is absolutely infuriating to watch people with power and authority exercise control with zero common sense, zero understanding of homesteading or working animals, and zero regard for the human beings caught in the crossfire. The real world is not sanitized suburbia. Some of us raise animals. Some of us work our land. Some of us built our lives through sacrifice, grit, and self-reliance. And we should not live in fear that one bitter, stupid complaint or unfair legal technicality can unleash years of harassment, intimidation, court battles, and devastation onto an innocent family. What happened to us should alarm EVERYONE — regardless of politics. We are not backing down. Not now. Not after everything this has cost our family. Not while Lucy still sits in prison. And not while these laws continue giving the system the ability to steamroll ordinary people. We will keep speaking. We will keep fighting. Until Lucy is home and beyond! #saveLUCY

@LoneStarChica @KristinaJulia2 I may have had this happen. I had a dog that had a bad hip and I moved something near her that touched that hip… she reacted and bit me in the face. I had to get stitches. I said a dog fight happened and when I pulled my dog out I got bit. Fortunately, they told me to report it.

Any time you go to a hospital or clinic for a dog bite, they’re required to report it to authorities. That’s why if one of my dogs or fosters ever bites me, I’ll go to my grave saying it was a stray I couldn’t identify because I never got a good look at the dog.

@NataniaMarshall my parents paid over 80k in 1978 for a 3br. Both worked full time, drove beaters and were house poor until they paid it off. I think your numbers may be cherry picked. I bought a house 5 years ago for less than your 2010s price.

@Bean883397 As a Gen X fan of the show since it premiered in 2005, you are correct the majority of us arent shippers. It never even crossed my mind. They made jokes that many of the guys I knew made & people reacted to them being “always together” the same as many best guy friends in my day.

@mrmikeMTL Way back in the 90s the only time I was able to cut out soda completely was with the help of a flavored water - Quest. If they still made it (black cherry 😋) I’d probably still be skipping soda.

I know this is somewhat controversial nowadays, but reminder to get your mammograms when you are of age. They are still the first and best step to detect breast cancer. In my case the tumor didn’t show up at all on an ultrasound only in the mammo and mri. Better to catch early.

Years ago when Obama was running for his first term, my neighbors kept talking about how great Obama was. I never said a word to them about being conservative because back then I was more centrist. At the time I was a 1099 consultant so I paid for my own health insurance. It was about $650 for a family of three and we had a fairly low deductible. After Obama won and the ACA passed, I lost my health insurance and was told by BCBS that I had to go through the government website to apply. My insurance went from an affordable $650 a month to $2400 a month with a $10k deductible per family member. When I said this to my neighbor, they called me a liar. I asked them where they got their news and they said they watched Jon Stewart. I laughed so hard and they never spoke to me again. I’m glad they finally moved. I just wanted to say this: these are the people we are arguing with online. Completely uninformed buffoons. If you get your information from a late night comedian talk show host, we are not on the same level. Good riddance, Colbert.

Trying to prove a point. How old were you when you became a homeowner for the first time?

I forgot how excellent the scenes with Lu aka @MarkRPellegrino were. However the last fight scene wasn’t as terrible as people say… I mean, it wasn’t great, but not as bad as I expected after reading about everyone’s feelings about it.

Rewatching Season 13 of Supernatural- my mom’s first viewing. She keeps asking me for spoilers and I honestly can’t remember - this is the season I was diagnosed with breast cancer so they didn’t sync in I guess. It’s like my first time watching them. Kinda fun.
