@Seagate @Forbes Purchased a hard disk (Case CC0000212068, CRM:085804789) and stored my marriage data. Disk failed after one use, recovery declared impossible, and only a recertified disk offered. This is my lifetime data—unacceptable. Please help.

@Seagate Had an HDD covered by their warranty. Sent the HDD in and they're refusing to honor it. They voided the warranty on the site after I sent it to them. They then directed me to buy a brand new one from their website. Hard drives are consumable but they should last 5 years
