@Seagate A 28TB drive purchased brand new failed barely a year later. Because I removed it from the external enclosure, your “warranty” apparently vanished, even though the enclosure isn't what failed. Decades of collected media are now trapped on a nearly new drive that can't even identify in BIOS. This isn't my first serious failure with a Seagate product, but it's absolutely my last. A warranty that disappears when a customer removes a plastic shell isn't confidence in your hardware, it's a loophole dressed up as customer support.

.@AskSeagate .@Seagate This is Disk #4 from a batch of 10 that failed within 1 year of use (airconditioned environment). I urge people using Seagate Ironwolf NAS to replace these drives a.s.a.p. Your data is at risk. My luck? I am using Raid6. Western Digital to the rescue!

@Seagate This is the hard disk but seller denied for warrenty
