🇩🇪 A court in Germany has ordered a migrant who killed a police officer to be placed in a psychiatric clinic, ruling that he acted out of fear for his life when he shot the officer. The court in Saarbrücken ruled that the 19-year-old Turkish national, Ahmet G., was not guilty of murder but of aggravated robbery, and ordered compulsory psychiatric treatment. According to the ruling, after robbing a gas station, he took a police officer’s weapon and shot Commissioner Simon Bohr 6 times, believing the officer posed a threat to his life due to his schizophrenia. The officer died at the scene from his severe injuries. Prosecutors had sought a murder conviction and a 13-year prison sentence, but the court considered his mental illness a mitigating factor and opted for treatment instead of prison.

@ianmiles "Resistance fighters" In this country we call attacking law enforcement officials a crime but because propagandist morons like you keep pushing the narrative down everyone's throat about the "Iranian REGIME" when it was America and Isreal that dropped bombs on Iran

Before the hanging, they had a fetish of taking pictures with their victims. Their actions were barbaric and sadistic. Another sociopathic ritual they performed was taking pictures with the hanging dead bodies of the victims. Never say Black people are the danger to society!

@SantoshSusarla @RoyalEndeavour You have no clue what you're talking about. The biggest problem they have, is remote work transplants, moving there for low crime and cheap cost of living, and it's pricing the locals out.

@RoyalEndeavour American conservatives routinely indulge in this performative BS over big cities in the US. Obviously Hicksville in Alabama will have fewer issues than Chicago or SF because no ones wanting to move there.

It's grotesque how American political culture turns absolutely everything (TV shows, hobbies, religion, other countries, etc.) into fodder for an endless Schmittian political trench war. Canada is designated "left". Therefore, American conservatives must performatively hate everything about Canada while American liberals must performatively praise everything about it. Neither view Canada as a real place with real people, but just a political theme park. It's either the Disney Castle or the Haunted Mansion depending on their ideology. Obviously, the reality of Canada doesn't reflect either of these cartoonish hyperreal images. However, this serves as the axiom for most political discourse on the country. It has gotten to the point that Canadians now view their own country through this distorted Americanized lens.

🚨BREAKING: EU BLACKMAIL ALERT: A Polish City Just Got Forced to Take Migrants or Lose Millions! 🇵🇱🔥🇪🇺 In Poland there’s a normal industrial city called Zabrze (about 170,000 people, in southern Poland near Katowice – think factories, regular working families, nothing fancy). Yesterday the city council said: NO – we don’t want the EU to send us migrants we have to take care of.” Today the EU basically said: “Okay then. No more millions of euros for your roads, schools, hospitals. Good luck.” So the council panicked, held an emergency vote, and flipped: YES, we’ll take them** (14 yes, 11 no). People in the room were screaming: “You betrayed us!” “We’ll never vote for you again!” The mayor did nothing to fight back. Zero. This is the future for EVERY Polish city when the big EU Migration Pact starts: Take migrants Brussels sends you… or watch your money disappear. The EU is using cash to force open Poland’s borders. No polite asking. Just threats. Poland either stands up now… or bends forever. 🔥🇵🇱

JUST IN: President Trump just told Israel to stop striking Iranian energy infrastructure. The Wall Street Journal confirmed it. Hours after Ras Laffan burned. Hours after Qatar expelled Iranian diplomats. Hours after Shekarchi threatened to reduce every Gulf energy facility to ashes. Read that sequence again. Israel hit South Pars. Iran hit Ras Laffan. Iran threatened to burn the Gulf. Trump said stop. The surface reading is retreat. The structural reading is the opposite. Trump spent nineteen days and $16.5 billion destroying Iran’s nuclear programme, its navy, its air force, and 90 to 95 percent of its missile production. He achieved the military objectives. The nuclear threat is eliminated. The conventional forces are shattered. What remains is the Hormuz blockade, which runs on doctrine and radio handsets, and the IRGC’s remaining capacity to hit Gulf energy infrastructure, which is the only leverage Iran has left. Continuing to strike Iranian gas fields does three things Trump does not want. It pushes Brent toward Citi’s $150 to $200 bull case, which translates directly into American gasoline prices and midterm electoral vulnerability. It escalates Iranian retaliation against Gulf allies whose energy infrastructure the US is not defending, having already told them “no free rides.” And it destroys the gas production that the post-war world will need for recovery, making the eventual normalisation slower and more expensive. Stopping the energy strikes does three things Trump does want. It caps oil prices below the level that destroys his domestic approval. It forces Gulf states to invest in their own air defences, buy American weapons systems, and negotiate bilateral security agreements on American terms. And it preserves the leverage of being able to resume strikes at any time, which is more valuable as a threat than as an executed order. The nuclear mission is complete. The energy escalation is capped. The Gulf is on notice. And the permissioned chokepoint that matters more than any of it continues operating on sealed orders that today’s directive does not reach. Trump’s WSJ directive does not address Hormuz. It addresses energy infrastructure. The Mosaic Doctrine’s 31 provincial commands were never running the strait because of South Pars. They were running it because of sealed packets written years before the first strike. Stopping the energy strikes does not reopen the strait. Starting them did not close it. The blockade existed before the energy escalation and will exist after it. The gas field and the chokepoint operate on different command chains, different infrastructure, and different timescales. Qatar expelled Iranian diplomats today because Iran struck Ras Laffan, the facility Qatar was trying to protect by condemning the South Pars strike. Iran burned the hedge. Qatar burned the relationship. Trump burned the energy escalation ladder. And the permissioned gate at Hormuz burned nothing because it was already running. Urea at $610. Corn acres dropping. Soybean acres rising. The cattle herd at a 75-year low. The planting window closing in weeks. The insurance clock structurally longer than the biological deadline. China drawing reserves at a million barrels per day. Russia collecting the windfall without firing a shot. Trump stopped the strikes that do not matter for the crisis that does. The strait is not governed by gas fields. It is governed by paper. And paper does not respond to presidential directives published in the Wall Street Journal. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

BREAKING: Iran just struck Ras Laffan. The world’s largest LNG export facility. Qatar’s crown jewel. The facility that funds the country’s sovereignty, its World Cup stadiums, its airline, and its entire economic model. Explosions. Fires. Partial production halt at a facility handling approximately 18.5 billion cubic feet per day of LNG capacity. Confirmed by Al Jazeera, Reuters, and Iranian state media claiming the strike as retaliation for South Pars and Kharg. Qatar expelled all Iranian military and security diplomats within 24 hours. Forty-eight hours ago, Qatar condemned the Israeli strike on South Pars because it shares a geological reservoir with the North Field that feeds Ras Laffan. Qatar was hedging. Protecting its gas. Maintaining the diplomatic channel with Iran that was supposed to keep the shared asset safe. The condemnation was calculated: criticise the ally’s strike to preserve the enemy’s goodwill and protect the field that generates $130 billion in annual revenue. Iran’s response to that hedge was to hit Ras Laffan directly. The geology argument is now irrelevant. Qatar condemned the strike that threatened its reservoir from below. Iran struck the facility that processes its gas from above. Both sides have now damaged Qatar’s gas infrastructure through different vectors. The hedging strategy that was supposed to protect both the reservoir and the relationship has failed on both counts in less than two days. The 24-hour expulsion is the sharpest diplomatic break Qatar has made with Iran in decades. It signals that the shared-field relationship, the North Field coordination, and the back-channel diplomacy that Qatar maintained even while its Gulf neighbours blockaded it in 2017 are over. Iran burned the one Gulf state that was still talking to it. The LNG implications are immediate and global. S&P Global already assessed one fifth of global LNG supply as impaired by the Hormuz disruption. Ras Laffan is the single largest concentration of LNG processing on Earth. Any sustained production loss at this facility does not tighten the market. It restructures it. Asia-Pacific, which absorbs the majority of Qatari LNG, faces power price spikes, industrial slowdowns, and chemical feedstock shortages that propagate through every manufacturing economy from Japan to Vietnam. LNG is not oil. Oil has the Yanbu bypass. LNG liquefaction trains are fixed installations that take years to build and cannot be rerouted through a pipeline across the desert. There is no bypass for Ras Laffan. There is no alternative facility at this scale anywhere on Earth. The molecule must be liquefied at the plant, loaded onto a specialised carrier, and shipped. If the plant is damaged, the molecule does not move. Iran hit Riyadh this morning. It hit Ras Laffan this afternoon. It has published satellite targeting images of Jubail, Mesaieed, and Al-Hosn. Shekarchi threatened to burn every Gulf energy facility to ashes. The regime burying its intelligence minister, its negotiator, and its Basij commander is executing a systematic campaign against the energy infrastructure of every country that called for its destruction. Kharg Island: 65 percent of Iran’s own gas offline. South Pars: processing facilities burning. Ras Laffan: the world’s largest LNG plant hit. The gas molecule is now compromised at production, processing, and export across two countries and a shared reservoir. Urea at $610. The farmer plants soybeans. And the LNG that powers half of Asia just became the next molecule trapped by a war that has no off switch. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

🚨The Iran War is putting the semiconductor industry on high alert: The shutdown of Qatar's Ras Laffan facility, the world's largest LNG export plant, has knocked out ~33% of global helium supply, as helium is a byproduct of natural gas processing. With the facility offline, the global market is losing ~5.2 million cubic meters per month, while there is almost no spare capacity as helium must reach end users within ~45 days before it evaporates. As a result, Helium spot prices have risen over +100% since the Iran War began. Notably, in 2025, Qatar produced 63 million cubic meters of helium, making it the 2nd-largest producer in the world after the US. If the disruption lasts 60 to 90 days, prices could surge another +50%, potentially exceeding $2,000 per thousand cubic feet, according to AKAP Energy. Helium is essential for semiconductor manufacturing, MRI machines, fiber optics, and space exploration, with no viable substitutes, meaning higher helium prices will directly raise the cost of making every chip in the world. Chipmakers hold ~6 months of inventory, but Samsung and SK Hynix are already scrambling to find alternative sources, with 64% of South Korean helium imports coming from Qatar alone. The Iran War is sending shockwaves well beyond the energy market.

🚨 BREAKING: Israel has struck Iran’s South Pars gas field, the world’s largest natural gas field and a core pillar of Iran’s energy supply. The major escalation comes alongside reported impacts on other oil and petrochemical facilities in the Assaluyeh area of Bushehr province, according to multiple reports. IRGC-linked Tasnim News issued an urgent warning urging people to immediately leave major oil and gas sites in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, saying they had become “direct and legitimate targets” that could be struck within hours. They listed: ➤ Samref Refinery — Saudi Arabia ➤ Al Hosn Gas Field — UAE ➤ Jubail Petrochemical Complex — Saudi Arabia ➤ Mesaieed Petrochemical Complex — Qatar ➤ Ras Laffan Refinery — Qatar The report added: “Previously, clear and repeated warnings were given to your rulers about entering this dangerous path and gambling with the fate of their nations.”
