Can somebody tell @MarchMadnessMBB that nobody asked for the baseline shots? All we need is a basic, half court shot to watch a game. You cannot see anything from the baseline!
@HammerAndRails We CANNOT keep playing Cluff and TKR together. Can’t defend out of it. Makes everybody look bad. No ability to rotate. They can’t defend on the perimeter on switches. Benter has to play more.
Here's a good example of SGA drawing a foul on a drive that looked like an iffy call, but with TJ upset because HE didn't get a call on a drive with even more illegal defensive contact as Wallace's vector goes directly into TJ's path.
@BarstoolPU Shoot half open threes. Smith can’t play 40 minutes and be the only offensive option. Get out in the open floor more and see if Colvin and company can generate more for themselves to open up. Half court game feels stale.
Alexi Lalas with some pointed words USSF technical director, Matt Crocker.
"Matt Crocker needs to review? What, so he needs a spreadsheet, an Excel sheet, or a TED Talk or a retreat in order to figure it out? No. It's right there. You failed again."
"It's been a blessing...Seeing how the city breathes basketball and how much support they give to the team. It's incredible."
Pascal Siakam talks about being in Indiana and the support he's received from Pacers fans.
Non #Purdue fans claiming Edey couldn't possibly have only committed one foul against Tennessee. Here's almost all of his defensive plays in the 1st half, notice how he doesn't hack? Hard to foul when you aren't swiping at the other players. #Boilers#Edey#MarchMadness#BoilerUp
Final Four for all @BoilerBall fans. For Gene Keady. For the Three Amigos. For Big Dog & Cuonzo. For the Baby Boilers. For Dakota, Vince, PJ & Isaac. For Cardinal. For Carsen & Cline. For 43 years worth of players, coaches, & fans! Boiler Up!

Purdue, with an offensively unstoppable and defensively terrifying big man in 7-4 Zach Edey, *should* shoot a lot more free throws than Northwestern. Especially the way the Wildcats played this particular game. And Chris Collins should know that.

Someday I do hope college basketball fans realize Purdue doesn’t get called for fouls because they don’t foul/are coached that way.
They are historically near the bottom of the country in steals per game and turnovers forced. Why? They don’t gamble. Straight up and down defense.
For anyone still upset with Purdue shooting that many free throws. Us too.
Purdue averaged 1.33 points per FGAs tonight (76 non-FT points / 57 FGAs)
Purdue averaged 1.26 points per 2 FTAs (29 FTMs / [46 FTAs/2])
The double bonus/shooting fouls actually helped Northwestern.
@boileruptweets@purdueinsider@jgtrends So their rim rate tonight was 30.3%, ours was 49.1%
Also, anyone upset has never watched Northwestern play basketball.
Northwestern is 303rd (out of 362) in defensive free throw rate. Meaning they send their opponents to the line a ton (more than all but 2 P6 teams)
