A lot of the problems in the world right now can be explained by this video. For one thing, it’s a big reason why the US government is so unaccountable to public opinion. These are *college students.* A significant amount of the country is totally checked out and comfortable enough not to think it matters.

Trump on Iranian leaders: "They're gonna make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing actually. They gave us a present, and the present arrived today. It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. I'm not gonna tell you what that present is but it was very significant prize."

Secretary General Mark Rutte: "Nato is a platform for the United States to project power on the world stage." Exactly as anti-war critics have long argued, to a cacophony of insults and hostility from our opponents. Good to have it rubber stamped.

There are still a lot of journalists and commentators that I follow who think AI is nothing of much significance—still just a mildly fancy auto complete machine that hallucinates half the time and can’t even think.
