How does this not constitute collective punishment?

The language here – "no basis in international law", "the actions of the United States and Israel", "diplomacy", "de-escalation" – is so strangely passive and procedural.

I get that Trump is deficient in all sorts of way, that he has no curiosity about the world and probably was shocked. But was there really no one in his cabinet, or in the Pentagon or State Dept, who could have explained to him the likely consequences of this idiotic war?

@ewangibbs V weird. Sarwar is not personally very popular so for Scottish Labour this mayoral style makes no sense. But I suspect these videos are more about crude online visibility than targeted messaging.
