Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources Gwede Mantashe has confirmed stats from my earlier posts and expressed concerns about the supply of refined oil products, as 60% of it still comes from the Middle East. Clearly afraid to answer questions, one can only assume that we will indeed run short if 60% of our supply line is obstructed, and they need to be transparent about the exact numbers.
