@ThatBIMGuy Oh yeah I am super grateful for being selected! Would indeed be helpful if they explained why a submission is rejected, but I think at 4000+ sessions, that would be too much work.

This year, I submitted two AU sessions. First proposal: Spent 10+ hours crafting the copy with a co-speaker, ensuring we met all the guidelines. Second proposal: Decided to submit a few hours before the deadline. Wrote the text in less than 1 hour. Guess which one was picked?

@nicocatellier My last-minute one seems to have been selected in the past couple of years. Maybe the order, like the one submit before the last day get read last by the selectors. 🤷‍♂️

@JeremyColombe Thanks! The Zelda theme was not in the abstract. The idea came from the combination of struggling to structure the class and waiting for Zelda - Tears Of a Kingdom to drop. I was on the fence about the idea up until the event. I even had two power points. It worked and resonated!
