@Magnoli16140821 @DunlavinGreen The uilleann chanter has 2 octaves and uses keys as well as holes, you can close the uilleann chanter against your knee, a lot more dynamic playing involved in the uilleann, smaller bag, different tuning also. @SeanUlidia @DunlavinGreen I wonder how much of a leap it would be. I know the uileann has 2 octaves & regulator pipes… or somethin? I think the bagpipes can be quite impressive in an outdoor setting. I love the low ponderousness of the uileann.

@CatrionaKing1 I played in trad sessions up and down the country with an oul pal who played them since he was a kid, he's known all over the world, played on a few film scores too.

Sara and I were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chuck Norris, a great friend of Israel and a close personal friend. Chuck brought martial arts and the warmth of his character to millions around the world. May his memory be a blessing.
