Things that regularly happen in movies that rarely happen in real life:
(1) Ordering food or drinks at a restaurant or bar and then not eating the food or drinking the drink, and leaving without paying.
(2) People ending phone conversations without saying goodbye.
(3) Female protagonists beating up muscular and much larger male bad guys.
(4) Statistically improbable mixed-race romantic pairings (e.g. East Asian man and black woman).
(5) Characters driving vehicles and not looking at the road while engaged in conversation with a passenger.
(6) Having sex under the sheets.
(7) Important business meetings in a conference room lasting about a minute or two.
(8) Middle-income characters living in expensive homes or apartments that they couldn't possibly afford.
(9)Ordinary people casually dropping f-bombs every sentence or two.
(10) Women waking up in the morning with make-up on and perfectly arranged hair.

My PSN account was hacked, seemingly as part of an ongoing sophisticated series of moves against both random and "prominent" users.
Indeed, I was told by someone a few days ago that I was going to be targeted, and he was right. (He was also hacked.)

Some important information:
1.) I wasn't phished, didn't click on any links, didn't randomly put my password somewhere, etc. I am completely positive of this.
2.) At the time this happened, my email started getting spammed with hundreds of random emails from all sorts of sources (SubStack, EA, AliExpress, Slack... shit I'm not even signed up for).
3.) I then got a text message that my @PlayStation Network email address was changed. Then I got a text message saying 2FA was turned off.
Frankly, how can any of this even be possible if someone isn't feeding information from the inside or has some sort of bespoke access to things they shouldn't? Makes no sense otherwise. I don't want to speculate, but it seems like a pretty serious technical and security breach.
@PS_Support_US was zero help (though the person I spoked with was perfectly nice). Said my situation has to enter a queue, it will take a week for them to see -if- they can give me my account back, and they seemed to not at all be interested that I was positively not phished, that my email address was randomly changed, that 2FA was shut off, and all the rest.
I did try to explain that I'm a prominent "media" person in the PlayStation space and that I'm likely being targeted as a result, though this has been happening to random people as well (as we've covered on Sacred Symbols). They seemed totally clueless about any of this, even though it's been circulating for months and people have already been targeted and been dealing with account issues.
Needless to say, if I don't get my account back, I'm retiring from gaming and podcasting forever. So let's hope it all works out!
In the meantime, be vigilant out there! Not that anything I could have done whatsoever would have stopped this. <3

@longislandviper This is the worst feeling in the world. Had it happen to me when Skyrim came out and Russians stole my 360 account. It took about two weeks and I got it back. Hope you get yours back as well. Godspeed

Never forget that even in Star Trek lore, a firearm invented 346 years prior makes absolute short work of the Federation's & the galaxy’s ultimate enemy.

@ManaByte Which means Favreau/Filoni didn’t make content which caused date changes to be questioned. The Acolyte is what you’re referencing. It was trash and the fans did the job of taking out the trash. In a rare instance Disney listened and cancelled it. Nothing’s worse than The Acolyte.

@kirkneverdied I loved him in everything with Daredevil but his show slogged on. I think every other word in season one is a cut to his wife saying “wake up sleepyhead” and the other half is frank yelling “Madani!”

Season 2 is dedicated to a very handsome Jigsaw with cool scars talking to his therapist while Frank sits in an apartment with an annoying girl.
I would call that a miss.

@CodyLeachYT 4 is a cinematic masterpiece in every way possible. There isn’t one section in the game that I get to and I’m like “ah hell let me slug through this” I love every chapter to the very end and wanted way more by the time I finished it.
