@HardwooodEmpire the new update has all the major bugs fixed and it’s running great, thanks! I have 2 suggestions: 1) better in game logic ie we should have known to shoot a 3 here at the end. 2) A save lineup option so when we make changes due to injury it is easy to go back

@JPWeiland Any idea what the #s are for hospital visits for various other reasons that may be as a result of long Covid? Would be interesting to see those #s vs previous years

However new infections can still lead to long covid and other health problems. The bright side is there is 4x less covid around than in 2022.

I think we can finally put to bed the hypothesis that population wide immune damage from Covid would lead to accelerating Covid cases and severity. Wastewater derived cases ⬇️ 75% Hospitalizations ⬇️ nearly 90%

Hey everyone, quick update on the game. I've been working on 3.1 this last week and I'll be uploading it tonight. It's been all bug fixes. You guys asked for a bug-focused update so that's where the time went. One of the few things I did add that's new was some refinement to recruiting, a new cut list addition and some other things so you shouldn't be losing those battles to smaller schools as much. Also made some UI changes throughout. I just got out of school for the summer, so I can finally go full time on this. I also wanted to say I have some big things planned for scaling this app and keeping you guys involved in other versions. Which leads me to: I've been working on a baseball game for a while now behind the scenes and I'm finally ready to start getting it out to testers. Really happy with where it's at. @HardwooodEmpire Love the constant improvements but leaving the game 25 games into the season and coming back and its suddenly off season makes it unplayable

@HardwooodEmpire Major bug: I was 27 games in season, logged back in and season was 0-0… but all my recruiting actions remained in tact

@HardwooodEmpire Bye games in the conference tournament (and maybe first four as well in national tourney) should count as a game towards injury recovery

@HardwooodEmpire it would be nice to click the opponents players at halftime to see what position they are playing before making halftime adjustments. Ie if it’s a center going off im more likely to clog the paint. Also to see more stats (3 pt %, fouls, etc)

@EthicalHoopz I’d run it back but with lineup changes + a true PG to run the bench + a ball handler for playoff pressure: I’d start Jones for Braun to stop allowing easy drives + PWat for Gordon for Gordon Load management, closing with AG and game by game situation between Jones/Johnson/PWat

My take that is apparently a hot take is that the Nuggets should sign-and-trade Watson, make a couple small bench moves, and otherwise run it back

@DubClayton @Meechie_67 It feels like it should be a simple fix, he just isn’t a rim protector. All you need is a rim protector next to him (AG, PWat who were both hurt), and guards who can stop penetration to some extent (do not have). You get that defensively and suddenly it’s not a big issue at all.

@Meechie_67 I’m about as two-way pilled as you can get so I feel where you’re coming from, but to me, that’s always been the clear weakness in Jokic’s game, but part of what makes him so fascinating. You need to be transcendent to find success as an offensive big that can’t defend; Jokic is.

There’s some real prisoner of the moment shit going on with Jokic Dude is averaging something like 28/12/10 since 2020 with one of the more statistically impressive 3-4 year stretches of all time including 3 MVPs and a ring, but people are acting like he just got exposed

@HardwooodEmpire Major issue! It is skipping training and not letting me go back and do it! It worked fine first year and has now done it 3 years in a row!

My biggest takeaway on the Wolves treating the Denver series as their championship is that they don’t really have championship aspirations themselves, and when you look at it that way it makes a lot of sense to still be celebrating instead of focusing on the next task

Reminder that Hack a Shaq didn’t even work. There’s no instance you can point to and say “Shaq blew this series for LA at the line”. Franchises were employing multiple 7 footers on a prayer. Giving out millions in the name of hope and a dream. Shaq was really really different
