@vcatalina96 I would've ditched either Gross or Goretzka (or both) for a proper RB so that Kimmich can play in his best position. Sticking your best player on RB makes zero sense.

I can even understand this. Aleks Pavlović and Felix Nmecha are nailed on in the squad, unicorn profiles both of them. Groß + Goretzka: Experience matters more than anything in knockout tournaments. Plus, both of them have been in great form. And Goretzka is obviously also very important for the dressing room. As for LB: David Raum is the starter and also brilliant on crosses and set pieces while Nene Brown is a fantastic talent you cannot risk losing to the US. And then you ask yourself if you want to sacrifice an attacking position for an additional defender or midfielder.
