#THFC pre-tax losses in '24/25 confirmed at £121mn.
Non-wage costs rose by £42mn.
Total wage bill up 15% to £256mn (employees up 7%), same as when they were in UCL in '22/23 despite being a Europa season.
Underlying operating losses worsened by £22mn to £92mn.
What drove the £95mn lower pre-tax losses?
Most worryingly, about half of the decline is due to non-wage costs rising £42mn. Suggests underlying losses worsening as described here bit.ly/4bIXRCK
Number of other items that aren't necessarily linked to underlying performance also impacted:
Bigger interest costs due to warrant revaluation (£23mn)

It’s too late for them to listen, their failures can only be resolved from a position of strength in the CL.
We won’t secure a good long-term FOS sponsor without CL, nor will we be able to buy the players of calibre and experience needed to balance the squad without it.

He's turning 28 this summer. His contract's up in two years, so it's either extend now or sell him this summer. Selling him is almost certainly the right move. Extending his deal would be really expensive, and we'd lose out on any future resale value.

This is the key point. There’s no sporting advantage if the off-book payments wouldn’t have made us fail PSR. The moaning today is because people wrongly deduced a sporting advantage from media reports.
It’s shady, hence the punishment, but can’t see what more PL/FA could do.
