Turkey is not Russia. I think the model of President Erdogan is Russia, autocracy, but Turkey is not Russia. Turkey belong to a stronger democratic tradition, and Turkey cannot afford the isolation that Putin thinks Russia cannot afford. This is a bipartisan initiative because when democracy and rule of law are at stake, there is no partisan privileges between the democratic forces. And this is also the reason why we European Democrats, we are so keen in following, supporting your fight, your fight for democracy

19-year-old Artem from Novosibirsk served with the Russian Army’s 102nd Motor Rifle Regiment of the 150th Division. In November, he contacted Ukraine’s "I Want to Live" project for defectors and informed them that he wants to surrender and help the Ukrainian Army. Over the next 80 days, he sent Ukraine the coordinates of Russian military positions, equipment and troop movements. Several drone crews, mortar crews and tanks were eliminated and destroyed thanks to information he passed on. He recently fled to Ukraine and is now joining the Russian Volunteer Corps to help Ukraine in its fight against Russia. Artem refused to take part in a war of aggression and is doing everything he can to stop Russia.
