@Haps_Paps Basically doing a sequence of inputs that option selects if your opponent does an invincible wakeup option or not. If you connect with a hit on block or on hit (you and the opponent are in hitstop, the follow-up doesn't come out. But if they do an invuln option, you hit them.

@KyokuReset She definitely looks better than she looked in Xrd, but I still probably like her original design the most. Also, design aside, I don't know why they removed any mention of the hat talking. I thought it was cool.

@Hauntchoo @RedTheCelestial The battle pass for skins is less anticonsumer than the seasons being so expensive IMO. I wish if they were gonna do this that they would've made all the characters base for 2.0

I am excited for 2.0 it seems like it has the potential to be the best patch in a while The battle pass is a little upsetting but it’s cheap and only cosmetics. Hopefully they make the character DLC cheaper to compensate if not just put them in the passes

@HaosHydranoid @SR_autor Because that's their opinion and calling something "good for what it is" on the internet is code for calling it mediocre. I probably do prefer this design just for the face and the midriff and the proportions. And even if they didn't play XrD, they can still compare the designs.

@SR_autor Yep, notice how these people almost always say that these new designs are "better." They don't just say these designs are good for what they are, they say "better." They get comparative and spit on the games they haven't even played.

@Shikiryu05 @iDrawBadd Yeah the gameplay animations in Strive are definitely improved, but you can tell most of the character intros and outros were rushed because they're way less cool than XrDs and characters sort of walk in which feels weird.

@iDrawBadd Lowkey i think XRD doesn't hold up that well. Strive is just so much more dynamic and the characters look way more right, not like they're trynna adapt 2D art 1 to 1.

@iDrawBadd I do like the color and animation direction but a lot of characters look kind of weird in the material texture and proportions departments. I like XX I-no the best by far because she looks like a normal human, in Xrd she's very round and her boobs are huge

@LordKnightBB @Aarondamacc It takes execution but she can break the wall from anywhere with 50 meter anyway, so I don't think she'll feel it very much. Unless they also nerf slingshot HCL, then we're screwed
