WTF?! I actually won the whole thing?! I know it's nothing too big, but for me as a noname it might be one of my personal biggest achievements in VGC to date! Super happy right now! 🥳

It's not accessible enough for newbies (team replicas) , it's too barebones for pros (no replays/OTS) and not spectacular enough in its presentation for a pure battle simulator. So honestly, why even bother? Again, it's enjoyable because of the format, but where is the vision?!

My Champions verdict: it's enjoyable enough, but probably only because it's a nice diversion from the last SV months/formats. I don't see the big vision for this game. Because if I am honest with myself: we don't REALLY need it in its current state:

So, what are Speed Stats in Legends Z-A actually affecting? Is it only pure movement speed, determining who attacks first or actually improving cool down in between attacks?

@o_b_z_d_n @ElectriKeely From what Jeudy wrote himself it seems pretty clear who initiated. And the initiator carries extra responsibility, because they're the one taking action - regardless if both were drunk - I think that's a big consistency right there

But if a drunk person can't consent, then the person initiating the sex still hasn't consented. And again, if this girl doesn't remember what she did, then she doesn't know to what extent she initiated and/or was a willing participant. I'm just asking for consistency. Apply your standards uniformly regardless of sex. She doesn't remember what she did, and he said he asked her several times and she said yes. When two people are drunk, you can't really expect both of them to make good decisions. Especially since these two dated before and probably had sex before.

btw it does not matter how many times someone says yes if they are drunk, it is not consent

@vgccorner Oh wow, never thought about it that way - I really like this advice, thank you! That's also paired really well with your tweet about ladder anxiety, which I still struggle with, so I'm gonna try to internalize this in my next sessions.

A simple twist on standard laddering: Before each ladder session, set a small goal that has nothing to do with winning or losing. - Flawlessly execute a Shadow Rider sweep - Practice positioning Incineroar to make him feel unkillable This will get you more engaged and focused. You can learn your teams true limits.

So why exactly does Pokemon Champions look worse then the already graphically weak Scarlet & Violet? Especially since it only has to focus on battles?! Already annoyed and hope they will polish it up a LOT for Switch 2 (and yes I know it also has to run on Phones).

First thing I did was a battle in Pokemon and I gotta say: just with the graphical improvements and 60 fps battling is instantly so much more fun! This might reignite my interest in the game!

I just won against this on ladder without ever switching out Flutter Mane and Chi-Yu, simply because I was the better player. (Or because my snarled Chi-Yu crit the two-times minimized Muk with Heat Wave Idk)
