@RealJohnnyTime My advice, keep your balance = 0, buy using credit card, have overdraft limit to repay it in case your salary is not on time and invest all your savings in Treasury bonds or something riskier if you want.

Alkohol ( zwłaszcza w większych dawkach) szkodzi, ale jego całkowity zakaz jest jeszcze groźniejszy na dla społeczeństwa - zob.Prohibicję w USA. A w Rosji zakaz sprzedaży alkoholu w sierpniu 1917 r doprowadził do krachu budżetu, hiperinflacji i osłabienia caratu.zob.I.O.Johnson.

@pashov However I would not call pausable smart contract DeFi, but transparent CeFi.

When I was starting out as a whitehat I thought that "Pausing" of smart contracts is centralisation, so it's bad. Now, after being part of hundreds of audits, I'm certain that web3 security is just too hard to not have pausability on your project. For now - have it, mandatorily.

@MikolajPisarski Jedyne co jest wymagane, to przezwyciężyć lenistwo. Alternatywą jest płacenie lub narzekanie na niesprawiedliwy świat. Warto urozmaicić sobie samotny spacer głosowym czatem z grokiem i dowiedzieć się czegoś nowego lub utrwalić posiadaną wiedzę.

Najskuteczniejszą metodą uczenia nowych rzeczy jest indywidualny tutoring. Przez wieki był dostępny tylko dla najbogatszych i uprzywilejowanych. Dziś, dzięki AI, każdy nosi swojego tutora w kieszeni. To największa obietnica AI – i największy „wyrównywacz” szans w historii.

@peter_szilagyi @0xmatebabe Actually constant is inlined, but the problem is, that inline process is done twice and consumes more opcodes, than expected.

@0xmatebabe My expectation was that the compiler would inline both the constant so it's loaded only once, and honestly the entire function call as it's a tiny thing. Instead it loads and loads and loads... ugh.

My Solidity adventures continue. Whyyyy oh why is the first variant 30% cheaper than the second?
