After my own personal experiences, I’m not shocked to see another example of the culture at the @NorthernPremLge. Chairmen and board members are expected to lead with high standards, yet this falls dangerously below. Was this ever addressed under their own code of conduct?

@Nonleaguetruth1 @duckiex14 They only travelled once. Other games were called off as early as we were permitted to under league constraints but one game fell due to torrential rain late on

@duckiex14 That being said FC United could have offered to cover the cost of Stockton's travel expenses as a token gesture.

I’m shocked by this response to my email from the Chair of The @NorthernPremLge and member of the @FA Council Is this an acceptable way for those in power to speak to football supporters who express genuine concerns? @FCUnitedMcr @WeAreTheFSA

Shocking response from the chair of the @NorthernPremLge to a supporter with legitimate concerns. Debbie Hewitt MBE is this behaviour acceptable from an @FA Council member?

@simmo_on_sport @dillpickle24 @DAshurst23 It is the league who have said that they believe it is unfair to determine a venue in the week of the fixture Yet they sanctioned a change of venue, and kick-off time, the morning of a fixture, just a month ago

@dillpickle24 @SeddonAdrian @DAshurst23 The difference in those instances (if you're referring to Trafford) is the opposition supported the switch. Stockton haven't given any indication (publicly) of their position (that I'm aware of).

This is the rule referred to in the statement. (It's 8.7.2 in the FA Standardised Rules)

@simmo_on_sport @DAshurst23 If they are arguing that regarding Dunstan where is the sporting integrity for the other clubs competing for the playoffs who see Stockton have the advantage of playing at a neutral venue. The advantage of playing at home was relied on by the NPL at that appeal

@simmo_on_sport @DAshurst23 But in this case little or no consideration to the same point regarding FC United but also much wider to the other clubs in the play off race who all had to play us at BP whilst Stockton get the advantage of playing at a neutral venue

@simmo_on_sport @DAshurst23 So this game was happening no matter what on that date but league refused FC United’s request that it be held at Broadhurst Park unless the weather forecast made it sensible to switched to the reserve Curzon option

@simmo_on_sport @DAshurst23 Timing isn’t the issue though Andrew as FC United’s pitch has improved significantly with a great deal of work done in recent weeks but most importantly the club had booked Curzon as a back up venue so it could have been moved there once we had a more accurate weather forecast
