Can someone explain to me why Saylor feels the need to post shit like this?
Michael Saylor@saylor
Let me recap the Q&A. $MSTR
English

@NickSchamp @w_s_bitcoin I buy this amount now, software engineer, I make 200k but my bills are about 24k a year, also max Ira and 401k, paychecks are 4100 twice a month and 2k of that goes right into BTC.

Dude DCA'd over $1,000/week for 6 years straight. 🫡

English

@TheShiftJournal so you're not meant to say anything? I'd say "yeah I guess we're close, why?"
is that a fail
English

@stackhodler This is fair enough, but also it's crazy that market sentiment really effects everyone lol, even the previously most bullish lose some faith in the bear
English

"How do you denominate your wealth?"
It used to be BTC.
But now it's moments like this.
Planting some rosemary on a bright spring afternoon with my son.
"Daddy!?"
I'm no longer interested in tying my identify to any particular asset, or being on a "team"
I simply take whatever investment decisions maximize peaceful moments like this.
I used to identify as a "Bitcoiner"
but truthfully that lead to frustration in bear markets, and distraction in bull markets.
I still love Bitcoin as an asset, but it has a tendency to suck attention and energy from people unlike most other assets.
Probably because it promises economic freedom and abundance
The thing we all desire
But how much of our lives do we miss by constantly focusing on something outside of our control?
Shifting my investing focus from Bitcoin to my family made a huge difference for me.
I was no longer afraid to sell some BTC
I didn't allow ideology to blind me from clear signals that BTC was losing momentum in 2025.
And because my priority was to maximize quality moments (with peace of mind), I was able to sell with confidence for the first time since 2017
I don't have a fear of not having the same number of coins I used to have
Because I'm no longer denominating my wealth in BTC
I'm denominating it in moments like this
The stuff that really matters in the end.
As long as I'm fully enjoying these moments, I feel like I'm winning as an investor.
I spent years bull-posting BTC so I understand that this change of thinking will upset many of you
I diamond-handed the last bear market, so I get where you're coming from.
But I also know it will resonate with those of you who feel like Bitcoin has taken a lot from you without necessarily giving you the true life returns you actually wanted.
All I can say is... Once you shift your focus from a single asset to the thing you ACTUALLY want...
The universe will suddenly begin to reveal opportunities to you that you would have never seen before.
Suddenly, both up and down markets present opportunities.
And the energy you were devoting to one thing outside of your control can be re-allocated to things that are in your control.
The funny thing is...
If you do this well, you will probably end up with more BTC in the end anyway.

@lepricemaster @DukeHerndon This is true - way easier to meet someone new in the US I'd say
English

@DukeHerndon It’s accepted in the big cities that men do not approach or speak to women they don’t already know.

Steve Earle used to have a great quote about Australia being full of beautiful women with absolute troglodyte guys and if you were slick with your game there you’d rack up

@ReachLuke @Polymarket Mr. Walker, good on you. Medical professionals are needed but AI has the potential to listen, understand, and diagnose better than a 1-2 a year doctor visit. Gordon Ryan is a great example of this.

Bitcoin ownership changed massively in 2025. More in next week’s report on Bitcoin adoption.
English

@saylor Congratulations, you finally averaged your price down. The good news is that you’ll likely keep averaging down as Bitcoin continues to fall. The bad news is that your total loss on your entire position will keep increasing the more you buy.

@cessonmute This is me - I've never understood why you'd be anyway else? Like sure close friends and family, but outside of that I'm not sharing every single piece of my life
Idk why some assume people are so interested
English

I have a co-worker who never announces anything. You don’t know she applied for a promotion until she’s already in the new office. You don’t realize she bought her own place until she casually mentions “heading home to finish painting.” She doesn’t post milestones. Doesn’t crowdsource opinions. Doesn’t invite commentary.
I used to think she was secretive. That success was supposed to be shared loudly. That excitement needed an audience.
Now I see it differently.
She moves with intention. Quiet. Focused. Certain. Her plans are protected while they’re still fragile. Her joy isn’t diluted by outside noise. She lets things grow roots before she shows the world the bloom.
It isn’t secrecy. It’s discernment. It’s peace. It’s self-trust.
Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who build their lives softly, without applause, and let their results speak when they’re ready.

@SpiritedSparr0w Soulless
I've been to a house like this too when I was a teenager and I literally said like where's all your stuff lol
English

In my 20s I met a woman at the gym outside Manhattan who invited me over to her place for a party. So that weekend I was at her fancy apartment and the whole thing looked like this. At one point I asked someone “where do you think all their stuff is? Like, even a picture frame or a book?” And they responded “ever hear of closets?”
I felt like I was hanging out with aliens.

@BonesawMD Always try to do this - feels like it's underappreciated these days but hope at least some have quietly been thankful

@Lfromthenorth I've never looked at a couple and been like "wow they better have stuff in common or I'm gonna be pissed"
