Lame duck government.
Rubber stamp assembly.
Rufai Oseni @ruffydfire is a pathetic bumbling fool.
English

@Alhajirostova @francessislit All of these because one individual was bold enough to stick to his convictions? You guys are not just disgusting, you're pathetic.

@francessislit guyyy first African nobel prize in literature. teachers spoke of him like a mini god

Reuben Abati @abati1990 was seated when Rufai Oseni was saying repeatedly that a 4-star general and the sitting Chief of Defense Staff CDS to shit up. That's not just disrespectful, it is appallingly disgusting. Rufai disrespects our soldiers at will and @ARISEtv feels it's okay.

Short one On BAT’s Age
Leave what he says for a moment—look at what others are actually showing.
I understand why people think BAT is older; he looks it. Questioning it is fair. What I don’t understand is rejecting every answer unless it confirms that assumption. At that point, it stops being a question and becomes an assertion.
If you believe he’s lying about his age, you need more than suspicion—you need a reference point. A different date of birth, consistent contradictions, or credible corroboration. Those are largely missing. Instead, what exists is a remarkably consistent record of his claimed age over time. Even if you assume it’s false, it’s at least a consistent falsehood—which, for most practical purposes, functions like truth.
The early discrepancy traces back to his CSU transcript listing 1954, which was later explained in court as a clerical error. You may doubt that, but documents like his SSN application and earlier travel records point to 1952—and he has consistently maintained that date, even after the transcript issue. If he intended to reduce his age, he did a poor job by sticking to one claim so rigidly.
Then there’s the oft-cited 1993 report: “Senator Bola Tinubu, 52, others returned from self-exile.” A straightforward reading suggests 52 people returned, including him—not his age. Nothing else in the article supports it as an age claim.
Context also matters. In the 1993 Senate, the average age was about 43. Many were in their 30s and 40s. Placing him at 52 as a new entrant would make him unusually older than his peers. Similarly, in 1999, the average age of governors was around the mid-40s—again, consistent with his claimed age at the time.
You can still argue he’s lying. But if so, you need to clearly state what the truth is and back it with something stronger than appearance—because most available records don’t support the alternative.
40 after his senate election is reasonable, 55% of senators were between 40-50. Even a fourth was between 31-40, being 52 then would have made him one of the oldest and even old enough to father the youngest senator then Liyel Imoke 31... Iyorchia Ayu the senate President then was also 40... The idea that a senator Bola Tinubu being 52 then is rather implausible. Same applies to his 1999 governor Set. He was 47 then. The idea that he might have been around 60 is ridiculous because that makes him old enough to father Donald Duke and same age with Osoba and co.

@ChuksEricE Sad! However, a certain Fayose was the governor in Èkìtì State for eight years in case you're not aware. But it is Tinubu that will come and fix the broken faucet solve the light problem in an Èkìtì hospital. Fooling around should be left for kids.

Nigerian twitter and the need to always look for Saviors so far its not of Nigerian origin
It was Millei at some point.. Argentina is in coma, everybody don rest
today its LKY.. Laughable
IFLee Kuan Yew was Nigerian, this same Twitter would have buried him.
70% of Singaporeans lived in slums when he took over. Double-digit unemployment. Ethnic riots in the streets.
Okay.. Read slowly what he did
He jailed opponents.
Sued critics into bankruptcy.
Crushed press freedom.
Ran a one party state for decades.
Used fear as a governance tool, deliberately, unapologetically.
The very things Nigerian Twitter screams about..
1) authoritarian
2) heavy handed rule
3) suppression of dissent
Singapore didn’t become Singapore despite the hardship of those reforms. It became Singapore because LKY refused to let comfort, noise, or popular opinion slow him down.
Drag a seat, Sit down.. Stop Talking cos nobody is fooled. Def not on this side

@ChuksEricE Does Nigeria produce more oil that the US or do we have more refineries than the US?
English

@jmikhe There's no doubt about it, you guys are operating under a curse. A very serious curse for that matter.
English

@iamnasboi You guys are INHERENTLY & PATHETICALLY dumb. A minimum wage earner must own & a car, live in a 3-bed flat, have 4 children in college, go abroad for medicals & vacations. He must eat one bag of rice every month & live like a king. The question is, who did this to you people?
English

@AsakyGRN This level of stupidity deserves a place in the Guinness book of world records.
English

@Bond_not_james You mean to say how many Americans earn $1m in 10 years not just even in a year. That's an overkill.
English

He will not talk about how easy it is to get 1m in Nigeria vs almost impossible in the other countries he mentioned.
How many people in America earn $1m a month vs 1m naira in Nigeria?
That should let any clear minded person know that there's more to currencies. But these are the shallow and narrow minded people that fill this internet space.

“$1 million can buy you a house in America. £1 million can buy you a house in the UK. 1 million rands can buy you a house in South Africa. ₦1 million can’t rent you a place in Nigeria. I hope you guys understand how cooked Nigeria is?” — Man laments.

@_kayode__ Attack people for their political choices. Are you for real or just being plainly stupid? And when they attack you back and have the upper hand you'll begin to play the useless victim card as usual.
English

@debo_rev @IgboHistoFacts Their delusion is permanently high on steroids.
English

🤣🤣🤣🤣
From which archive did you get this nonsense from. Why do you people keep deceiving yourself with lies?
You know, it’s easy to help a man who is being deceived by others, but it’s not possible to help a man who deceives himself and continually lives in denial of his reality.
Let’s start with Nigeria.
In the percentage of our GDP…
The Igbos are not even in the top ten of contributors.
You can factcheck me on that.
So, if you are not in the league of gdp contribution, how are you the sixth richest tribe in the world?
Where and how?
English

“Being president doesn’t change the fortune of a tribe. The Igbos are the 6th richest tribe in the world. They’re also the 4th most travelled.
If the presidency truly changed a tribe’s fortune, other tribes that have held power would be more successful than the Igbos. No region in Nigeria is more developed than the Southeast — except states that once held the capital.”
