THE UNTOLD STORY.
NNAMDI AZIKIWE. born Benjamin Azikiwe is an Ijaw man by origin,
Born to Pa lewis Apam of Agbere town in todays, Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa state (Western ijaw).
Lewis was a capenter at the time working with the royal Niger company, where he met an igbo lady who was also a staff at the company. They had an affair that resulted in pregnancy.
However, the igbo lady left and went back to the east.
As fate would have it, Pa Apam later relocated to Onitsha where he met the lady again, but this time she was already married to another man.
By the igbo tradition, the man who fulfilled the traditional marriage rights of a lady owns the children of that lady, that was how Apam lost his son to the igbo tradition.
But as God would have it. Benjamin was told of his origin, he later added Nnamdi to his names meaning "my father is Some where".
This is a part of history that has lost his Relevance in Time.
Benjamin Azikiwe later visited his biological father in his home town of agbere several times. See attached pictures.

I was at the motor park on this same day last year when I saw a small boy of about 8 years old sitting on the ground. He was not begging. He was just holding a dirty, torn paper and a pencil, trying to write 1 + 1 = 2.
A woman selling food shouted at him to leave her front and even threw dirty water near his feet. The boy did not cry. He just moved quietly to sit under a leaking roof to continue his writing. My heart pained me. I went to give him money for food, but his eyes stopped me. He looked so hungry. I asked him why he was not in school.
He told me his mother died the previous year and his uncle brought him to the city to go to school. But since he arrived, he only washes cars and sweeps while his uncle’s children go to school. He showed me his back and I saw a big wound from a hot iron his uncle’s wife used on him because a plate broke while he was washing it. He ran away three days ago and was sleeping in the park, hoping to find a bus to his village even though he has nobody there.
I looked at my fine clothes and felt ashamed. I work as a secretary. I was on my way to work but I did not continue the journey. I held his hand and told him not to cry. I told him that from that day, he was not going back to that house and he was not going to the village. I have decided to adopt him as my own son.
Today makes exactly a year he has been with me. He has a new school bag and a clean uniform. He eats good food and nobody will ever burn him again. I remembered going through the same treatment many years ago, when my aunt brought me to Lagos to send me to school but instead she turned me into her house girl and treated me like trash before God sent a good Samaritan my way who helped sponsor my education. Today, I am the same person feeding and paying fees for her children ever since she and her husband passed away in an accident.
NB: I am not posting this to show off. I am sharing this to tell everyone to be kind to other people’s children. You don’t know who will help you tomorrow. No one knows tomorrow. 🙏🏾

I HOPE AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE LEARNING FROM ALL OF THIS.
Other countries complain that their hills and mountains are liabilities.
But Iran has managed to turn them into weapon cities.
Do you think if their weapons and factories were in the open like many other countries, they would still be throwing missiles?
The US and Israel would likely have crippled them already with all the bombs thrown so far.
But Iran is still heavy on missiles and is ready to go as far as anyone wants.
Why?
Because they turned hills and mountains into fortresses where they've kept planes, warships, missiles, missile systems, and factories protected.
Today leaders threaten them to accept defeat — but their underground strength keeps them standing.
These are lessons for African countries.
What are we doing with all the water resources across Africa?
Some regions of the Middle East refine salty water just to survive.
But Africa has vast fresh water sources.
What are we doing with the oil, rare earth minerals, gold, and natural resources across the continent?
Instead of using them to develop our nations, only a few benefit while many countries remain underdeveloped.
This war is revealing lessons that should make African leaders and citizens think deeply.
Iran has been under sanctions for decades, yet look at what they built under pressure.
China faced sanctions, tariffs, and blockades for years — yet still developed strong industries.
Many African countries have had independence for decades.
What have we achieved with that freedom?
Whether we accept it or not, foreign interests often target African resources.
Because of the wealth beneath African soil that is still underused.
Africa is blessed with enormous potential.
The real question is:
Are we using what we have to build strength, security, and prosperity — or wasting opportunities that future generations will need?

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, the matriarch of the El-Rufai family. I have fond memories of shared moments with her and her motherly care. At a time like this, words can offer little comfort for such a profound loss. My heartfelt condolences to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and the entire family. May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus, and give the family the strength to bear this loss. - NR

One of my financial mistakes
2024 i opened a pure water factory for additional income.
In fact in my head I had imagined that it’s blood money business I was about to enter because I felt the expenses will be small so I imagined plenty profit.
In my mind I said after all I’m not buying the water.
Anyway let me first use 5 minutes to laugh at my self first before I start 😂😂😂
I bought every machine it needed to Nafdac standard,I also registered it with Nafdac so my sale was very legit.
That gave me my first experience with Nafdac
I started with 3 cars,a hilux truck and 2 open boot bikes.
We kicked off and my reality set in.
First of all printing of roll was more expensive than i thought, already taking half of my money.
Then as a producer our price is usually regulated with other factories,we cannot give drivers higher than other factories because we had a union binding us and it was part of our rules.
We are producers so we don’t sell directly,we give to drivers at cheaper rate then they sell and make their money.
As at that time I was giving each bag of water to my drivers at 120 naira a bag sometimes 150.
Now I will still buy fuel for the cars ooo
Even when i considered the option of them buying fuel and adjusting their price I still suffered for it.
I also pay each bagger 10 naira to bag 1 bag, this is minus other salaries of the people in production handling the major sealing machines ooo
I was burning electricity and light bill as if fire was burning my Nyash.
I changed filters every two weeks and it’s not cheap
I ran diesel to support Nepa because of course I live in Nigerian.
I had so many staffs on salaries too and there are so many other expenses i cannot say all here.
Abi is it car maintenance, story for another day 🥱
Drivers will owe me and they kept giving excuses that customers are owing them, all lies, infact me,drivers and police station became customers every week.
I gave most of this drivers accommodation ooo but the truth is they are full blown thieves.
At the end of every sales I make money but it goes like the wind to expenses and I will be left with only money to replace the rolls to produce again.
To cut the long story short I was close to running madd then I shut down the business and I regained my sanity.
If you have ever ran a pure water business you will understand this post better than anyone else, and if you intend to open a pure water factory first go to Amadioha and take juju make all your workers first swear oath before you start and take jazz not to run madd.
Which business showed you shege?

Mine is Uber, I bought Corolla for Uber.
First, a guy in my area came and applied to drive, I said since he's very close, I will always see my car.
First week he's supposed to deliver, I am seeing my car at Jehovah Witness camp at Ota, by the time he came back, he said he has not started work, that he went to camp with his family with my car.
How's that my business?
I knew that wahala go dey, I carried my car immediately.
Made open advert for driver, got a driver.
I have only one mechanic that touches my cars, I told him to always take it to the mechanic for servicing.
Then he started with excuses that he's always on the island, I had to be sending him money from my pocket so he can service the car.
He will deliver for 3 weeks, the 4th week he will use one problem to pack all the whole money.
Then he graduated to owing me, kept giving one excuse or the other, for 2 months, I know see money, while my car has been working.
I told him one day to bring my car, I don already set soldiers to carry him, he kept working, I told him that if I see my car moving away from my direction, he will not like what I would do.
He deliberately came to the house around 10pm, that time my guys have left and said I should put call once he shows.
My car is now looking like what I don't know, this guy never serviced the car, the engine is clogged.
I just asked him to go.
I fixed the car and sold it.
I will never give anyone car for Uber again.

Nigerians must continue to pray that someone like myself never makes it to Aso Rock as President. I am telling you now, the very first thing I will do is place heavy restrictions on religion.
Pastors will be required to obtain a permit from the State House before they can operate, and that permit will be renewed every year. Their sermons will be closely monitored, and any preacher who dares to say what my government has not approved will instantly have his permit revoked.
His church, which, by law, will not be allowed to hold more than thirty people at a time (if the thirty-first shows up, he will be instantly remanded in a psychiatric ward), will immediately be converted into a science institute, a public library, or a government re-education center. The pastor himself will be sent to a state-run institution for reorientation, where he will remain until he shows clear signs of accepting the worldview of the state before he is allowed to return to society.
