@PixelCNinja @topapate I finally got to experience a fully functional RetroPie arcade cabinet and was sorely disappointed in the results. It sente down a rabbit hole of accuracy and I learned about FPGA, MiSTer, and had those awesome Smoke Monster videos to give me reason to buy in.

@iequalshane I am the opposite! I had an NES and all the Mario games and was blown away by the upgrade in both visuals and sound! Nowadays I can feel the difference in controls to say each version has their place, but as a kid I was a marketer's wet dream!

As a kid, I remember really disliking the look of Super Mario All-Stars the first time I saw it on a friend's SNES and I think I know why. It has way too much visual noise, especially with the backgrounds. The sky gradient also didn't match the style well.

@RSDCDN I think all I have going for me in terms of actual excitement is Okami 2. I want to say it comes with age and experience. We've been hyped and let down so many times that we are weathered to the storms therein. My kids get pumped about a lot!

Not sure what it is.... But - is no one else excited for anything too? I can't think of any music/movies/games/shows that are coming that have me looking forward to it (outside of horizon 6). Am I just getting old or is everything just crap/boring/rehashed/stale?

I haven’t played the game, but I think it’s sexualising the child. She is barefoot alone with a guy, everyone says she cute and brings material instincts, but I think they made her look a bit perverty

@Arctiq_ I don't think theaters would have given him the time of day with that in mind. This is all from negotiations that he is very lucky to have pulled off to get things in theaters in the first place.

Could y’all not have done the theater release AFTER the premier? People still would’ve gone to the theaters just to support y’all
