Plenty of new people who are following me on here, so I just wanted to give a bit of an idea of who I am and what I am about. No idea how long this will be, so apologies in advance if it's too long for some of you. It's going to be plain to most that I am a very big Trump supporter. I am very much MAGA, but I don't consider myself a Republican. I am an Independent who wants what is best for the country, and under Trump the Republicans currently align more with my own views, and the Democrats have gone completely insane. I am a legally ordained minister, but am not a Christian. I respect Christianity, and see the prejudicial treatment of the religion by the Left, but I don't share the same beliefs. I'm completely happy to discuss my beliefs if requested, and that is the one exception to the "no DMs". Just make sure that I can see that's what you are wanting to discuss without me having to open the DM first. I don't care what your sexual preference is, what your gender or your skin color is, or if you are trans. Your character is what matters. I firmly believe that adults should be able to do what they want with themselves, and with other consenting adults in the privacy of their homes. I do have a problem with trying to push sexuality onto children, and I am opposed to trans women in women's sports due to the obvious biological differences. I hold comedy in high regard, and do not believe that anything is "too sacred" to make fun of. My favorite type of jokes are bad jokes, ranging from the most offensive to the cringiest of dad jokes. As long as the intent isn't malicious, I find it all funny. I'm a massive nerd. I have a pretty decent sized comic book collection, mostly from the 80's to mid 90's, and know a lot of comic book lore, Marvel, DC, and even some independent labels. I love tabletop RPGs, and have experience with multiple systems. D&D 2nd, 3rd/3.5, and 5th editions, Palladium, Shadowrun, and multiple others. I also enjoy strategy games such as Chess, Catan, Risk, and others. I am currently working on trying to develop my own fantasy strategy game. I am also big into video games, RPGs and Fighting games being my two favorite genres. Finally, I am a fairly poor individual, as far as finances go. I live paycheck to paycheck, with bad knees keeping me unable to stay on my feet for prolonged periods of time, and mild narcolepsy makes sitting for too long unviable as well. That, and transportation issues in a relatively small town leaves me with limited options for work, and without insurance, I can't afford to get medical work done to get disability. I take on as many hours of work at my job as I can, but most of the time it's barely enough to cover groceries and rent. I am not seeking handouts or pity here, mostly just trying to make sure that those on here that do the whole online scam thing know not to waste their time. I don't have money, so you won't be able to get money from me. I also post it because I have experience with the nightmares of trying to navigate the bureaucracy, and how difficult it is for honest people to get government assistance that need it, while foreign scammers apparently are capable of getting billions for themselves. I have also experienced first hand how feel good programs like raising minimum wage only hurt those that have started rising above that level, only to find themselves brought back to that level again. Last, but not least, the reason I go by the moniker of Nobody is that I don't really think my identity matters at all here. I'm just another anonymous asshole on the Internet, and the only thing separating me from the others is my thoughts and ideas. I don't want people to care about my identity, it's irrelevant. The real concern is what you think of the ideas I share. If you disagree with what I have to say, tell me why. I am open to changing my views, but you have to provide better reasoning than I have for holding them. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Nobody

Good Saturday! This is probably the truest thing ever. I have met numerous educated people that have turned out to be complete morons. And the funniest part is they always talk about education/intelligence/IQ. The overcompensation makes me laugh. 😆

I'm an Angeleno...nearly all my friends and family are democrats. All of them are terrified of the socialist psychos hijacking their party and pushing their insane communist gobbledygook, but they don't know what to do cuz they get called "bigots" when they voice any concern.

I'm not even monetized on X, although I am hoping to eventually get there. Regardless, I enjoy calling out their stupid bullshit every chance I get, even if I am only doing it for free the entire time.

Does Bernie Sanders have too much power and influence in the US? Americans Only I know I don't have the reach the WSJ has, but I am curious and want to run a bit of an experiment. I don't normally ask for anyone to engage with my posts in any particular way, unless I am asking someone I am arguing or debating with to answer a question or provide proof of a claim. However, I am asking anyone who sees this to vote and repost this, whether you haven't seen a thing from me you disagree with, or you disagree with everything I have ever said on here. I'm wanting this to be as accurate it can possibly be on here. This is in relation to this post I just came across from Bernie stating that most Americans believe billionaires have too much power and influence in the US, according to a poll by the WSJ. I'm setting it to go for a week to try and get as much engagement as possible, and give people that definitely don't follow me more of a chance to see it.

What are you even talking about? Who is calling for violence against civilians? I think you are really confused about the subject. There's a difference between accepting the fact that sometimes in war there are civilian casualties, and calling for violence against civilians. You also still haven't provided a suitable alternative to war when being violently assaulted, especially by a force that is calling for your genocide. Without an alternative, your cry for no more war is nothing but a fantasy dream that only leads to the ones who are most violent and first to attack always gaining what they want. So, for the last time, what is the effective alternative you have for war?

You call me a war partison, and then get upset at me for insulting you? You accused me of lacking morals for understanding that war is sometimes necessary. If you don't want to be insulted, don't be insulting. You are correct on that last line. How do you stop violent coercion and oppression? What would be your plan to deal with Hitler, and Nazi Germany, for example? You denounce war, but I keep asking for an effective peaceful alternative to acts of violence and aggression, and you just keep avoiding answering, just saying war is bad. I'm not arguing that war isn't bad, I am saying that it is something that is sometimes necessary. If you have a better method to deal with such things, I am all ears.

And when the attacks happen, how do you expect them to be dealt with? Ask nicely for them to stop? Give into every demand, and hope it doesn't encourage them to do the same thing whenever they want more? I get despising war. I despise war. There's not many people who don't. However, I live in the real world, and sometimes war is a necessary evil. The world isn't just sunshine, rainbows, butterflies, and flowers. Sometimes war is necessary. Innocent people die. Even without war innocent people die. "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." You are the type of person who would invite evil to grow and prosper.

Don't know what your religious beliefs are, I am assuming some denomination of Christian, and doubt that you would want the blessings of a minister of pagan deities. @dominustweet I've looked into a few of the ones that have been successfully translated. You would be surprised how much they would change things. The existence of the church as it exists in its entirety, for example. Probably one of the reasons that they were labeled to be heretical.

The theme and lesson of the Bible as is is pretty clear. I doubt the omission of other gospels would change anything. Many of the stories of righteous people existed before there was even Mosaic law. The God of the bible was concerned with the heart of man. Not their ability to burn incense in the proper order.

Well, you are coming at this from an entirely Christian viewpoint, for one. If they aren't Christian, they don't believe in any of the reasons that you have put forth here. Personally, I think Jesus was a great man who said and did a lot of great things. I don't believe he was the son of God, though, and I believe that categorically the god described in the Old Testament was a jealous monster who couldn't follow his own rules and behaved like a spoiled toddler whenever things didn't go his way, if you take the Old Testament literally. You are never going to convince non-Christians if your entire argument hinges on believing in Christianity in the first place.

I agree with you. Using the bible a reference for proof to someone who doesn’t believe the bible is not productive. I would say that discounting the validity of the bible because there are Christians who claim to be followers don’t carry out its commandments is equally non productive. The best way to understand the bible is to read it in its entirety over a period of a few weeks arranged in chronological order (like most books are read). Almost no one reads it like that and thus take many things out of context. It actually flows well and addresses your main concern. Jesus said the 2 most important commandments are to love God and love your neighbor. The rest of the bible is story after story of examples of why we should and why it is impossible and thus the need for Jesus.

Of course that's what happened. And of course, after killing Charlie for refusing to go along with her assassination, they decided not to follow through with it after all because, reasons. I seriously don't understand how these people who believe this shit function.
