We report in @CommsChem a new rotaxane to control lipid membranes using light. We can modulate the membrane tension and size of the vesicles. Great collaboration with Prof. Jeremy Smith and Dr. Micholas Smith @ORNL and @VutukuriRao @LSU_Chemistry @LSUResearch @lsuscience

I am delighted to post about my main PhD project and our latest publication in @ChemEurJ! Here we demonstrate our efforts to synthesize a carbon nanotube via a bottom-up approach. Along the way, we also synthesized the longest cycloparaphenylene acetylene to date @UniBasel.

Another entrepreneur, same result when it comes to Apple Vision Pro vs. other VR headsets. Was just talking to founder of @nanome_inc: Steve McCloskey. His app is being used by scientists to come up with new drugs and new materials. He passed me a crystal structure as a file. Way way way way better than in other headsets. Better integrated. Better looking. Easier to control. Integrated into the real world. Damn, our kids are gonna have such powerful tools to learn biology and material science, among so many other things. Have you put your head inside a molecule today? I did, and it was STUNNING. It's clear to me that shortly the entire industry will be building for Apple. The leaders are speaking loud: Apple is way way way ahead of the others.
