@lingodotdev the real problem is when its a microsoft thing causing it and no one will ever know or understand why it does that at this specific spot

@peach2k2 well its not that warm during the summer in most of that circle
English

@aschmelyun I did the same thing a couple of months back - it's a lot of fun!
I reccomend taking a look at Tailscale and Proxmox

@aschmelyun @ThePrimeagen Thank you for sharing your experience. What kind of things did you create / improve and how did you approach situations where the technology you learned is completly unfit for use. (extreme ex. js for embedded)
English

@Semp26X @ThePrimeagen Take a look around and see if there's anything that you think:
"I could make that work better" or "I wish there was an easier way to do this" or "I bet it would be fun to create this"
The fun you get from the building itself is what's kept me in this field for 15 years!

I'm still relatively new to software - is it smart to keep on not using AI at all ever or is there a point where I should start using it? @ThePrimeagen
English

@lda_trb Well,, none at first - i started doing lowcode with powerapps for my apprenticeship and now i love going above and beyond and embarking on my journy with C# - it seemed the most versatile and logical descision to me esp. bc my company is DEEP in the m*crosoft ecosystem
English

@lda_trb @ThePrimeagen Oh i can totally relate to that - I think Prime might be the person that had the biggest impact in me going from "I'll become a dev because all other jobs suck" to where it is my passion that I want to do forever
English

@Semp26X @ThePrimeagen My post doesn’t answer your question, but one my sub goals as a new dev was to understand of what prime was saying.
It was a nice motivator. Maybe it would be good motivation for you, too.
English

@ThePrimeagen I feel like i don't yet really have a concept of what i want to build. For me what is the most fun is building itself - it's the feeling of looking at something I made with my own hands and knowing every part of a system.
English

@Semp26X just care about what you build and continually learn
whatever makes this process the most fun and keeps you coming back for more is the ultimate hack
same with working out, do the workout that makes you workout again
English

@ThePrimeagen Still waiting for the calc.exe copilot that sends the question to microsoft and lets a reasoning model *try* to awnser it
