My family and I had a great weekend celebrating Independence Day and meeting so many of you in Ralston and Seward!

It was great to see @SenatorFischer & @RepDonBacon back from DC to celebrate Independence Day in the great state of Nebraska.

Such a great start to the 4th of July weekend with my family. It was a beautiful day to get out there on the bikes 🇺🇸

I’m looking forward to spending time over this Fourth of July weekend with my family! I’ve had a lot of great roles in my life, State Senator, Husker, but there is no better title than husband and dad.

It was really nice to see Public Service Commissioner, Dan Watermeier, who is a good friend, and was a great State Senator too...He made Syracuse and all of LD1 proud during his service!

It was great to hang out with @opoapresident, Tony Connor, and some very cool elected officials at the rain delayed #CWSOmaha game! To @HailStateBB and @VandyBoys heading into tonight's showdown, good luck, and to all the teams and fans that visited our great city, thank you! ⚾️

It was a wonderful celebration of Collette's 10th Birthday...You are so loved!

Thanks to Loren and @LesVogler for the tour of the Vogler Semen Centre, and showing off the great advancements that we've made in ag technology! Here they are just finishing up pulling the ovocytes from the donor cows...These practices help Nebraska farmers feed the world!

It was a great @dcrponline meeting tonight with @LouAnnLinehan, talking about the tremendous achievements that came from the Revenue Committee... @ChristianMirch and @14chrisnelson14 are running a great ship, and the turnout and energy was fantastic tonight!

It was a nice day out on the Tiburon Golf Course, with my wife Leigh, and Eric and Liz Lyons, swinging for the @bbbsmidlands "Fore Potential" charity drive...They do such fantastic work in the community, and it was a privilege to support them!

For Father's Day, my family said "Take me out to the Ballgame"...It was really nice to spend time with my family, I love being a dad, and my own dad got to join in as well; I hope all of you reading have enjoyed your Father's Day too! #FathersDay2021

Our nation has fought very hard to live up to it's promising ideals, to be one people, created equally under God, and to be treated as such. As we celebrate Juneteenth, let us remember the progress that we have made, reject division, and stand together! God Bless. 🙏

#TBT to hearing Art Laffer speak at the Capitol about supply-side economics. There's a national discussion going on about the merits of free-market capitalism, and I agree with him that less government intrusion, and moving more towards a consumption based tax system, is the way!

Praying for my dear friend, Senator Tom Brewer, who's battling leukemia...But one thing is for sure, he's a true warrior that has won every single battle in his life thus far, and I'm hopeful to see him win this one very soon too! 🇺🇲

Today and everyday we honor and remember the brave men and women in uniform who have made the greatest sacrifice to defend our freedoms. We will never forget. #MemorialDay2021
