Great to visit with the Bluebonnet Republican Wonen of Ellis County in Midlothian today.

Yesterday, I was pleased to be honored by Pres Green and the members of the Cross Timber Republican Ladies in Stephenville. Also enjoyed a staff reunion to say farewell to great folks who support me and the district.

Today, I had my confirmation hearing before the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee. Honored to have been introduced by Senator @tedcruz. Appreciate all your prayers for success!  Hooah

My Senate colleague @SenatorBirdwell is up for his confirmation hearing in the Senate Armed Services Committee this morning! I can’t think of anyone more storied and qualified to be in charge of Army logistics at the Pentagon than a retired Lt. Col. and a survivor of the 9/11 attack 25 years ago. His book, “Refined by Fire”, details his 57 surgeries as he recovered from the terrible wounds he suffered on #September11 and shows the faith-based reasoning that pulled him through and made him such an accomplished member of the Texas Senate. Great night last night in Midlothian. My longtime friend Judge Greg Wilhelm was sworn in as the new 504th District Court Judge by Texas Supreme Court Justice Sullivan. Congratulations Judge, well done.

Honored to join citizens of Bosque county to open thier veterans memorial. Credit goes to Andrea Wallum for working this project for years to get to today’s opening. Great to see so many friends like Sue Fielden and Bob Flood and fellow veterans.

Great evening last night at Tarleton State Military Ball. Mel and I Joined Pres Hurley and his wife Kendall, Congressman Fallon, State Rep Slawson, Col Simon and Cadet Commander McKay for a packed house dinner to honor the over 150 strong cadet corps. Congressman Fallon gave a strong inspirational keynote to highlight the evening. Our country is in great hands with great young Americans!

Closed out Veterans Day at Tarleton State Universiity with a fabulous program. Tk you to @TarletonPrez for a great evening honoring local veterans from around Erath County and beyond.

Honored to join Congressman Sessions in his Waco office to honor special veterans who served our country but also served after they took off the uniform. Thank you to all for your service in uniform and out.
