But Ark does an update and every server starts crashing, people losing their shit, res growing back through bases. And thats not just once. Its nearly every update.

@wolf92s @JL_Harrie @survivetheark When there are millions of lines of code things get hard. When corruption only starts visibly happening after a couple hours it's not an easy fix or can be found during testing. And when 3rd party libraries stop all of a sudden things can break unexpectedly .

We've now resolved the corruption-related crash issue that led to the Official Network being taken offline. Over the past day, we’ve been running controlled server environments on a small number of official servers with enhanced logging to safely reproduce the issue, validate adjustments, and ensure the cleanup logic correctly identifies and resolves these corrupted cases before they can destabilise a server. With the fix now validated, we will begin redeploying the Official Network in approximately 15 minutes. Servers will start coming back online shortly after deployment begins, some servers may take some time so please be patient and some servers may also require a rollback. We know downtime on this scale is disruptive, and we genuinely appreciate your patience while we worked through this. Our priority was bringing the network back stable, not just fast. Once the network is back online, we'll monitor stability and we plan to run a week long EVO event once we're confident all is well. Thanks folks🫀

@JL_Harrie @survivetheark Not testing update properly. I love Ark as much as i hate it at times. But here is the thing. No game on earth other then Ark constantly gets problems after every update. Not even games that r 10x bigger then Ark. Its a lack of testing.

@survivetheark From what we've been hearing ? Its naughty players messing up the game for everyone. Judging by the madness on Switch, certain players exploiting things, pushing boundaries, building bases that make other people crash even trying to go near it let alone flying over.... Etc etc.

@survivetheark Rollback everything. This update is a complete mess. Servers wiped, structures deleted. This update caused complete destruction amongst the Ark.

@thelilpanda Hi Panda. Can u explain what happened to astraeos? From what i seen and hear. Is that ALL astraeos servers r wiped. Not just visual. But literally. I just checked. And ours too (5997). Every single base is gone.

@survivetheark I'm hearing from quite a few friends that some Astraeos servers have been wiped? How do you manage to make mistakes like that? Just one launch without issues is all that we ask. Test test test test until you're sure it's good to go.

No real upgrades, no real reason to buy when the originals still slap harder on any emulator. @NotDollie why did u all had to touch the healing phase of the lost queen? The fight was hard enough already. Now its nearly impossible. On alpha it spawns lvl 180 neophytes and uve to destroy 10 energy balls. Even if u miss 1 it fails. Even in sp gcm i couldnt do it...
