When you're making millions of dollars a year and you specifically sign up for that lifestyle - yes you need a reason. There are a handful of jobs that carry the requirement. If you want to be able to do that, work a 9 to 5. Would I try to be there? Yes, personally, if I didn't I have a hearing or a major deal going down that I couldn't miss. But also don't be disingenuous, you're not being there for your kid. They're not going to remember it
