Excited to share that I was awarded a K08 from @theNCI 🎉🥂 Couldn’t have done this w/o my incredible mentors 🙏🏿 In training when I thought abt what a researcher was/looked like, I never envisioned someone like me. I’m glad to change that, even just a bit, for those after me ❤️

Immensely honored to receive this award -- proud of all my mentees and thankful to all my mentors. I'm so grateful to have known Dr. Provenzale and be considered part of her amazing legacy.

@AaronGoodman33 I just called, they won't refund anything, they will only provide a credit towards future additional payments to ABIM!

@AaronGoodman33 @doctorwes Was similarly extorted by ABIM. Despite being within the 10 yr window of GI certification (and having enough MOC), I was temporarily "uncertified" and my MOC points were on hold because i hadn't pad accrued late fees on IM certification (which I no longer maintain!)

Anyone have A+ tips for improving bowel prep adequacy rate in your GI practice? I have to give a talk which touches on this, and would love to hear what has/hasn't worked in real-life. Nurse navigator for preps? Apps/texts reminders? What else?
