This is the right time to change the way you’ve always thought about things. Question your beliefs, question your choices. Adjust them to the new reality. If not, life will move on without you

It’s better to know than to believe. Belief will raise doubts. Knowing will erase doubts.

Maybe the grownups weren’t lying. I tend to like the kids who greet better than those who don’t. I can’t believe I’m actually saying this 😂

Narcissists use triangulation by deliberately bringing an ex or other people into the relationship. The goal is to make you feel insecure and compete for their attention, it feeds their ego.

You can tell a lot about an individual by whether they ask if they can reinvent themselves or start afresh at a certain age. If growth is all that you have ever known, you know it is never-ending, the only true constant. There is no age limit. The very limit you perceive has been prescribed by mainstream society. The question you should be asking is - who are you living for? You can start at any moment, at any time. You just need to follow through and have the guts to back yourself, even when there is no one standing behind you, even when no one has got you, back yourself with conviction, because that is the litmus test of alignment - you feel it with such ferocious fervour that it no longer matters what others think, because the knowing permeates every cell, every fibre, every sinew. It is in your marrow, in your heart, beating with righteous outrage. Those who have walked this path know solitude intimately, they know that those who truly resonate will gravitate. So fear not. Stare into the sun.

You cannot be friends with someone who is not in the same wavelength, mindset, or lifestyle as you. Friendship needs alignment. People who have not attained a certain level of self-awareness or discipline will often become uncomfortable in the presence of someone who has. No matter how much grace, compassion, or patience you extend to such people, they will eventually feel threatened by the parts of you that remind them of what they have not become. Instead of being inspired, they become confronted by their own shortcomings. And when that happens, two things often occur: They will try to pull you down to their level to justify their inadequacies, or slowly buildup envy and resentment towards you. This is why outgrowing people is sometimes necessary; not out of pride, but out of self-preservation.

When someone says “you have a massive ego” They want you to feel bad for that. But that’s the best compliment you’ll ever receive. That’s confirmation that you take no shit from life.
