If the Jazz attempt to trade up for the No. 1 overall pick, I think there would be serious intrigue from the Wizards if Ace Bailey was involved. Bailey, the 5th overall pick last year, reportedly wanted to be drafted by Washington.

Players the Grizzlies should move the #3 pick for: -Wemby -SGA -Jokic -Ant -Luka -Tatum -Cade -Tatum -Flagg -Dylan Harper -Scottie Barnes If they get offered one of those guys, do it. Any fake trade involving “Zach Lavine” or “Nic Claxton” as a centerpiece is foolishness.

@DLocke09 #askloj you’ve brought up Kevin Love as a comp, but Boozer also reminds me of Jason Kidd and Luka Doncic in their drafts, as in they were generational prospects with through the roof 🏀 IQs and production at a young age, but got passed over by guys who were “clear top picks.”

@DLocke09 #askloj you’ve been big on the 3rd year being the major development year. How are Isaiah, Cody and Flip going to make the jump on a much more talented roster, assuming they are not traded?

@Tjonesonthenba Surprised you aren’t higher on Boozer. He reminds me so much of when Jason Kidd, Kevin Love and Luka Doncic— with elite tier IQ’s and pedigrees— got passed over for “better prospects” that scored more, looked more athletic, etc. (Glenn Robinson, Michael Beasley, Bagley/Ayton).

You’re nervous that the Jazz will pass up the better player who plays the position the Jazz have nobody at for the player that resides at Utah’s most stacked position?

@KesslerWRLD In ‘18, Bagley and Ayton had great athleticism and great freshman numbers and were the clear top picks, even though Luka Doncic had an elite pedigree and elite basketball IQ, just not of the charts athleticism…

@Tjonesonthenba Isn’t there a chance that Boozer is a nightly triple double threat and MVP candidate one day, similar to Doncic and Jokic? The pros and cons are so similar when projecting defense vs offense, basketball IQ, competitiveness, pedigree, etc.

The Jazz literally have the easiest pick of the draft. Just take AJ or Darryn. Whomever is there
