@AlexKndy_ This is the second remote trade attempt btw. They started the first one by choosing shiny Galarian articuno which I declined as they didn't had anything in equal value to trade. So, I started the second one and chose regular Zacian to hint them to pick something in equal value🫠

And over $50,000,000 given to people NOT including the stuff listed above. All while still in my 20s 🥰

Agreed that a lot of folks know better. 2 chances isn’t a lot. But I think you’re right and perhaps I’m overly hopeful that they’ll get it together. I don’t think trade partners can see nicknames on tagged Pokemon. I’m happy to do lower “value” trades, nonshinies, whatever. But not even working with my options and gunning for my super rare shinies is crazy work.

So I’ve discovered that the best way to handle this is: -create a new tag to “Hold” all your shinies and high-value trades. -untag all those Pokemon that you do not want to trade to this person. -initiate the trade again, and this time the other person will only be able to choose from your limited options. -after the trade, return the “Hold” Pokemon to your Remott Trade tag. This will force a fair trade. Otherwise, the trade won’t happen at all. I would also message this person on Campfire, but usually when I’m in these circumstances, the other person either doesn’t have Campfire or doesn’t respond.
