Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

@saranstm @TripuraKamakshi So they had ZERO ROLE? That is a convenient fake argument too.. Depending on which she is the ideological divide you are... But the hapless SL Tamils are also clueless about who ACTUALLY deceived them.

Watch the incredible moment as Wounda, a rescued chimp, thanked Jane Goodall in a way no one expected, when he was released in the wild.

Swapna Barman, the first Indian heptathlete to win an Asian Games gold in 2018, her house was set on fire yesterday, just becoz she contested for TMC. When she posted on FB “Had I known this, I would have never joined politics. Today my house was set on fire.” the flood of laughing emojis & trolls came as bonus. This, the Asshol Poriborton Bengal voted for! This is the value of an Indian, in India today if that person refuses the politics of filthy hate and majoritarianism - no matter how much her or his contribution to the country.

In a press conference relating to the NEET exam paper leak yesterday, the Union Minister for Education was asked why his Ministry had not heeded the recommendations to strengthen the NTA put forth by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education under my Chairmanship. The Minister declared that "I will not comment on Parliament Standing Committee red flags... The Parliament Standing Committee has members from the opposition. They write things in a certain manner, you also know that. Hence, I won't speak on the standing committee." The Minister’s statement is deeply disturbing and highly condemnable. The fact is that of the 30 Members of Parliament in the Committee, 17 are from the BJP itself. Both our reports pertaining to the NTA – Report 364 and Report 371 – were adopted unanimously by the Committee. In fact, the Committee’s recommendations include a reiteration of the K Radhakrishnan Expert Committee report that the Minister cites. The Minister’s refusal to acknowledge the Parliamentary Standing Committee is a dismissal of his own party’s MPs and the Indian Parliament’s bipartisan traditions. The Parliamentary Committees are an extension of the Parliament, and the Executive’s accountability to the Legislature is a fundamental tenet of democracy. Such comments are not befitting the position of a Union Minister, and are a clear indication of the concerned Minister’s contempt for the Parliament of India and our constitutional democracy. Minister should not only apologise but should resign. If he doesn’t resign @PMOIndia should dismiss him.
