Happiness is like physical fitness; it's not a static state to arrive at, but a dynamic state that takes daily effort to achieve and maintain. It's lost easily and gained easily. While it's only ever temporary, you can achieve it again and again by focusing on what matters.

Birth tourism is a real industry. People fly to America specifically to give birth so their child gets automatic citizenship, no other connection to this country required. That's not what the Fourteenth Amendment was written for, and it's not what a meaningful immigration system looks like. My Constitutional Amendment closes this loophole by requiring a genuine legal tie between a child's parents and the United States.
